We purchased bbq flavored chicken breasts. 2 packages. Labeled the meat block. We couldn't eat one! Way too salty. So salty, we didn't even feel good giving them to our dog! Horrible

I'm impressed very with this meat shop. Good prices and very large varieties in meats, high-end smokers, and lots of outdoor seating and BBQ supplies available for purchase. Staff was very friendly and helpful when dropping off my venison to be prosecced. Had my venison processed here and I will be back for sure all of the meat tastes amazing.

We love the meat block! It has good quality meat. The flavor is good and so is the texture of it all. It is a little pricey but worth the quality. All the staff are very nice and helpful.

Im disappointed in your customer service. There have been numerous times that I have had to wait long periods of time to get something sliced for me. This time there was a man ahead of me getting 20 sausage rolls sliced. The guy slicing them told me that there is only 1 slicing machine. I would think that a store of your caliber would have more than 1 meat slicing machine. I left frustrated and you missed a sale.

I love their meats! Just disappointed they would not cut the Baby Back Ribs for me because they were on sale. They wanted to charge me full price to cut them. Just disappointed 😔 …

Was real good before the merge with The Meat Block. Now it's even better. Very nice selection of seasonings, sauces, burgers, steaks, pork, utensils, and even a nice bit of doggie treats. I could spend way too much there.

Didn't take photos... But this is my favorite sausage recipe / flavor / taste in WI. Was happy to go out of the way to be able to stop in and get some goodies!

We buy our steaks there for special occasions. Have never been disappointed. It's a great place to shop.

Had gone to Haens multiple years now for venison processing. Waited 5 months to get meat back this year and venison sausage is significantly worse than years past. Very greasy and lacks flavor, I will be changing processors in the future

Excellent quality fresh & frozen meat & fish selection, including hard to find fresh beef bones & shank for bone broth soup. Large variety of cheese, bread & sauces too. The best breakfast pork sausage.

Absolutely love Haen's! The meat is wonderful, but they also provide the best "extras" to go with dinner. The team at Haens is always polite and super helpful! I can't say enough good things!

First, Time said they had a ton to select from very great people suggested ways to make things loved. It was a great experience.

Very disappointing changes since me owners. The biggest one for me is the hot sticks. I been told from insiders that they changed the recipe. It's obvious since it no longer needs to be refrigerated. Obviously, more preservatives only to be greedy. It was not for better taste, quality, or health reasons. Response to owner: My insider source is very credible, but that's besides the point. By "changing the process a little bit," I'm guessing you mean by adding sodium or salt that pulls moisture out of the product...aka, preservatives. The only reason this would be a benefit with hot sticks that were already perfect is to make them shelf ready. Why would any buyer care if it's shelf ready? The greed reason is because you have an easier time getting shelf space at local grocery stores and had stations. Refrigerator space is very difficult to obtain in these places and expensive. Therefore, you changed the recipe to get cheaper space and stores you weren't able to before. The point is, the change made the flavor less desirable.

Dawn who works in meat slicing is wonderful. She loves what she does, she stands by every product and loves the company. I value employees that appreciate the business they work for. Haens has such a great selection of meats that they process and the quality is of the highest standards. Come here for the meats, spices, prepared foods and great customer service!

Always has an abundance of different frozen and fresh cut meats. Clean store, friendly and helpful staff.

I love their steak burgers definitely been a little different since the other place took over
