Gulley's Butcher Shop

One year when I went here for a late night haunted house at the butcher shop there was no ghost I walked the route like it was nothing I didn't hear anything I didn't see anything it was so boring I will never again go here because it's a joke

We had a great time on the Astoria Ghost Tour offered here. Our host Kelly and Joey were very knowledgeable and informative.

3/3/22 I would have given this nice little shop 5 stars if they’d had what I was looking for. It’s a small shop so I understand that they don’t have what I get from my regular butcher. They did, however, have very friendly and prompt service as well as sweet little section just for doggies. It was nice that they had those options for the dogs or I would’ve walked out completely empty-handed. The bones that I bought were a hit and I’m glad that I stopped in. Very fine service and the shop is immaculate. Great vibes too : )

This is a great small town butcher shop with high quality meats. There is something here for everyone. They even have bones for your dog!

Compliments to the butcher! Picked up some great, thick cuts for the family at one of the most important events I've cooked. Everyone loved it. Drove from seaside and it was totally worth it. These cooked nicely with apple chips on the bbq, salt and pepper. Thanks!! Love the shop!

I love this place! I been here twice and it hasn't failed me yet. The clerk gave me some jerky which yeah I'm easily swayed by jerky but they had curry sausages. I bought two along with their cowboy ones and I'm loving it. So much it's gonna be my regular stop to Astoria. 2 years before myself, my roommate from job corps went there and for what we paid vs got it was great. The ribs cooked amazingly. I suggest cooking their sausage with Rogues or Ft.Geroge until candied to really enjoy it. Thanks Gulley's! I hope to do more business down the road.

The gentleman who helped me was absolutely wonderful. From everything I read up. This place is worthy of my business. There was no rancid smells. It was clean and tidy. I'll be getting my special cuts here. I just moved back after twenty years away. So lots to explore and see. This is new for me. The price is fair. I just grabbed a few steaks for a special meal. I should have grabbed some pictures. I will next time I visit.

Stopped by to grab one of their already made Dilly sandwiches. Was excited to try one and as I bit into the sandwich I choose a fight and swallowed and felt uneasy. I took another bite. Wondering what was wrong with the sandwich. I open the sandwich up and The bacon was completely raw, made me extremely sick. And this isn't the first time this has happened. I was disappointed with the service of the lady behind the counter. She seemed very spacey and said that she has personally made the bacon. I will never go back! Update - It has been several months since I have posted this. I have gone back to see if there are any better and unfortunately I have to say it's disgusting. The ladie was extremely rude to me definitely not worth my time. I would NEVER buy any food from here!!! As horrible as it is to say their meat that they sell cannot be trusted, it will make you sick.

Stopped by to take a look during the Sunday farmer's market and left with various meats including some amazing bacon. Great customer service, the lady behind the counter was very helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely be returning.

This is an old world butcher shop in the middle of downtown Astoria. Their house made sausages are better than any I have had in Portland or Seattle. Their meets are locally sourced and so flavorful. The surprising thing is that they even have some delicious smoked Seafood products. They carry a fun assortment of Oregon made food treats from berry jams to home made pastas. It's a destination butcher shop! The proprietors - Glenn and Diana Gulley - are so knowledgeable and welcoming.

Excellent quality and selection of locally raised and butchered meats, milk, and more. I drive up from Seaside just for the local eggs! I love the daily $5 sandwich special. Today's sandwich included thick slices of Gulley's bacon with turkey on fresh, local bread. Support local Farmers!

This butcher shop is the real deal! It's a treat to get such delicious quality food for such a great price. They have AMAZING sausage with great variety. They also have some wonderful local items to browse. 10/10 would recommend!

This place rules! There's an ever changing selection of fresh meats and some staples like the pastrami. The shop offers breakfast sausages, steaks, pork chops and a selection of spices, condiments, sandwiches and wines. They accept EBT cards.

Went in once and did not feel welcome. Tried a 2nd time to order a butcher box and cannot get order filled or status 12 days after initial request. Emailed and called. I have heard great things about Gulleys unfortunately not my experience. Going to have to find another place that will appreciate patronage

By far the best butcher shop on the Oregon coast. Maybe even the state of Oregon. They often have cow hearts, tomahawk Ribeyes and other more difficult to get cuts of meat. They also have inexpensive and delicious house made sandwiches as well which beat any price in town.

Grabbed an elk pepperoni stick, it was very good. Nice shop, will be back.
