The beef from Guindon Farms is delicious, and the owners are lovely people. Made beef bourguignon from arm chuck roast that is the tastiest dish I've prepapred to date. Our dog chewd on a bone marrow bone all Thanksgiving day. And looking forward to beef tips and noodles. There's not much comparison to this high quality beef and the typical stuff you'll buy at the grocery store. It'll sure make you feel fuller, it's healthy and lean cut of meat, and the smell while cooking is mouth watering. Really, the beef from Guindon Farms is quite affordable considering the quality you get. You get what you pay for.

Oh my, what incredible meat. I no longer eat any grocery store CAFO beef at all. Not only are Guindon Farms normal cuts totally deliscious and healthy, but they also sell hard to find organ meats that my beautiful white standard poodle thrives on. If he knew how to give stars we would have to have 10:) The only hamburgers I ever eat in Marquette, MI are at Donkers! Because they use Guindon Farms beef and I know it is healthy. I suggest you go, in the summer, when cattle should be outside grazing, and visit a CAFO (Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation) feed lot where our grocery store meat comes from. I was horrified to see the conditions of these poor animals, never allowed to graze like they were meant to, getting no exercize, eating unnatural food, standing, etc. The butcher at my local grocers refuses to eat it himself. I haven't since I researched CAFO beef either. Take a look at CAFO feed lots online if you can't go visit in person. Then go in the summer to visit Guindon farms and see it ! No comparison at all. I was pretty much sold before I got out of my car. I hope you will contact them in the summer and go visit Barb and Matt. They have a beautiful farm, and they have happy cows for sure:) Their nutritious organic beef is so worth any additional price. I am headed to my freezer as soon as I hit send to get one of their steaks that I bought at the end of last summer at the Marquette Farmers Market. I'll be thawing a lovely New York Strip for tomorrow's dinner. Yum.

Fantastic beef. The animal feed I have been told is soy and corn free which is amazing. Good people running the farm. Buy from their website to support them directly!
