It was an amazing experience. I bought a 40-pound pig for Christmas. I rented their spit, and the pig was seasoned for me at a great price. It was a smooth process. It was one of the highlights of the party. Definitely will do it again!

GVP is a butcher shop. They have fantastic meats and the staff is very helpful with portions etc. The marinated Hanger Steak is second to none.

So far I’ve purchased Sirloin, Skirts and Hanger steaks from GV. All of which were huge hits! Prices are high, but I can’t blame them for that. They provide excellent meats!

Great company to help you DIY a pig roast! They supplied us with everything that we needed to have a wonderful day. The pig was seasoned beautifully. The help they gave was top notch: accommodated an early pick up, gave an extra motor since our cook out was 1+ away, and was fine with us dropping off a few days later. If you are looking for a pig roast or some good meats from a local butcher - check this place out! Thank you GVP! Our pig roast was a hit thanks to you (and no leftovers!)!

Fresh and Flavorful! Easy to find location with plenty of parking. Small footprint with huge knowledge and made-to-order meats. More special requests take time and a phone call from a few days to a few weeks - depending if you want an entire set-up for a pig roast, alligator or a tailgate special. Tell Green Village Packing Co. what you want/are going for and they will put together what you need and provide the equipment, guidance and cooking techniques to create a flavor bomb fun time. A team of butcher's and master butchers - the people that cut, prepare and sell meats - that receive their meats from an on-site abattoir - skilled crafts people that break down/process whole animals for butcher's to prepare. I have to start with the Hot Italian sausage. Monster long links that we baked in the oven, low and slow. Melts in your mouth with flavor. The best I have ever had, which is the basis for this 5-Star rating. Placed these on soft white hoagie rolls. Nothing else was needed. Juices were the condiment. Amazing. The mild sausage was also delicious, however, grown adults were (gently) pushing each other aside to get to the hot links. We went with a 10lb box of 4-ounce burgers for a quick cook on the grill. Topped with good American Cheese an placed on a Martin's Potato Rolls - delicious. Took home a bag of chicken that we marinated with Sweet Baby Ray's and the other half with Italian Dressing. Tried their "Hog" Drummers - pork drumsticks. These we also cooked low and slow on the grill. Fall of the bone tender. I am eager to try their other beef and pork selections and perhaps make my way to the wild game offerings. If you want to be the grill master, rule the tailgate or put on a fancy diner - click on their website to scroll around, then get yourself here to make some delicious decisions. For a non-holiday week, and for the skill, freshness, flavor and support - fair price points. The service, the food and how easy and exact his service was. All my guests were amazed of the quality of all the food. Our Pig Roast was a tremendous success!!!! Thank you Bill.
