Good Life Grass Farms

History and Mission

Good Life Grass Farms has been passionately engaged in sustainable farming practices for over 18 years. Deeply rooted in the principles of regenerative agriculture, they embody a mission to develop food systems that support both environmental health and farm families. The farm's approach to agriculture is one that harmonizes with nature, working alongside the land to produce nutrient-dense, pasture-raised beef and lamb.

Farming Practices

The focus on regenerative agriculture takes center stage at Good Life Grass Farms. Utilizing techniques such as rotational grazing and holistic animal husbandry, the farm ensures grass-fed and grass-finished cattle and sheep. They dedicate efforts to improved soil fertility, riparian fencing, and alternative water sources, all aimed at sustaining a drought-resilient and environmentally secure operation. The farm's emphasis on low-stress handling and ultra low-input livestock underscores their commitment to ethical and sustainable farming.

Offerings

Good Life Grass Farms produces 100% pasture-raised beef and lamb. The beef is raised and harvested from June to October, aligning with when the pastures deliver peak flavor. Similarly, their lamb is harvested in October when the animals have reached an optimal weight for tenderness. Both meats are celebrated for their exceptional taste and health benefits.

Buyer Experience

For those interested in purchasing their meats, Good Life Grass Farms offers convenient options for processing and pickup. Whole lambs can be processed and picked up either at Clouds Meats in Carthage, MO or directly at the farm, which is located just outside of Pierce City, MO.
