We purchased a ribeye roast. I must say it was the BEST steak we've had in a while. We cut the steaks to the thickness each person likes and grilled to perfection. I cannot emphasize enough just how good these were. Everyone's comments were about just how good they were. Thank you for the connection. We'll be back!
I got some smoked pork chops which I never had. Cashier very helpful and friendly. She told me they would be good to season collard greens. Delicious. I'll be back.
🤩After agreeing with someone online that grocery meat doesn't seem to be what it used to, I decided to see if there were any butchers in the 334. I found George's and bought some ground beef. The texture and flavor of yesteryears were back!!! I'm so glad to have found this place. The lady who assisted me was warm and welcoming as well. I definitely plan on becoming a recurring customer, even if I have to make the 45 min drive. It's worth it. 😋
Had the best Italian food ever from George's!! It was SO GOOD, I can not wait to go back and try the others. Bertolone's makes an amazingly good dish. Great people and great food!
We purchased several filets for our family Christmas party. First off, she was very helpful and accommodating with what we were looking for. Secondly, the meat was amazing!!! Totally recommend!!!
It's been a long time since I've been able to find steaks as great as these. There's no doubt that you won't go wrong by getting your steaks here. I had heard about it and looked it up on the Internet. So glad I decided to try them out. Definitely will be going back. I encourage everyone that likes to cookout to to try at once and I do believe you'll be glad you did. Also you can't ask for nicer people.
This place was amazing! The Gentleman at the counter explained their process and what items were offered beyond their meat selections. I bought some chicken, hamburger patties, and a hash brown casserole. The chicken was hands down the BEST ever! Hamburger patties were good too; (My BF stated they were a little too lean.) however, I wanted to go back the next day and stock up, but they were closed by 3:00 pm on Saturday and they don't reopen till Tuesday. Will go this Friday after work and stock up! It's all local and fresh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have heard about this place for quite some time. This morning, I decided to give them a shot. Now, the big question I have is: Why have I waited so long? The steaks are beautifully cut, tender and delicious, the owners are super helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back.
Went for the first time this weekend. Customer service was great. We purchased some sausage and crawfish Mac and cheese, both were amazing. My wife and I can't wait to try a steak. Will be back for sure.
Great locally owned family business! Very friendly atmosphere. Nestled in historic downtown Wetumpka! They always have a great selection of different cuts of meat. You will not regret trying them!

We found this shop by accident and so happy we did The steaks are fabulous the best steaks we found the jerky was very tasty Don't forget to try the hamburgers again they were great and we also bought the potatoes we will be back definitely! Non
My husband spent way too much on brisket here. Then, he brought it home and made the best meat I've eaten in quite some time. So, I guess we'll continue to spend way too much here. Worth it!
Great place to buy quality meat. They also have a good selection of unique sodas.
I bought their filet mignon. It was the most tender steak I and the 3 people who ate them had ever eaten.
First time there was last Saturday, bought 2 filet mignon and was the best I've ever had. AWESOME
