Front Porch Farm is a family-owned farm located in Stevens County, Washington, primarily focused on selling fresh produce, grass-fed beef, and hay. They also offer a variety of local products, antiques, and handmade gifts through their farm store and at local farmers markets. The farm emphasizes naturally grown products and community engagement.
A rare find!! Located conveniently on Highway 395 between Chewelah and Colville, this little farm and antique store is worth a stop. During the summer they stock their own naturally-grown produce and whatever tasty local fruit is in season. Though they don't serve food, there's always snack options handy; fresh fruit, Off the Farm granola bars (so addicting), juices, and Cougar Gold cheese. Their store not only stocks produce but also local art, vintage collectibles, adorable gifts, handmade soaps/lotions/balm, and handpicked antiques (they restore some of them right there on the farm!). They also attend several farmer's markets in the area (including one in Spokane that goes all summer, which is even more convenient for me!). They always bring a great selection of the freshest veggies, eggs, and honey to the markets.
They have lots of quality vintage and antique items. Fresh farm vegetables, protein bars, and other healthy choices.
I have driven by this place several times while visiting Colville and I was thrilled to see that it was finally open on a Tuesday afternoon. I'm so glad I stopped in! It is well organized and clean with loads of my favorite types of finds. Love all of the linens, Pyrex (from when Pyrex was truly indestructible), intriguing prints, Pendleton blankets (new and at great prices) and ALL those rolling pins! The prices are more than fair if you want all the finders/cleaning work done for you. Great antique finds. I could go back several times before I saw everything they have to offer (it looks small from the outside but there's good shopping on the inside with loads of variety). Oh yah... they're a farm too, haha. The romaine lettuce was the best tasting I've had in a long time. The cilantro and herbs are perfectly portioned and cleaned up for you. I made a simple balsamic/olive oil/lemon zest/sugar/garlic vinaigrette and added shrimp, bacon and homemade croutons to our lettuce for a really quick and fresh dinner. Plus and best of all, the owners and their kids are very kind and helpful and make you happy you did business with them. I look forward to going back as the harvest continues this year.
This wonderful little store would generally be open more days and hours if it were not for restrictions on businesses due to the virus. When they are open stop in and you won't be disappointed. Good fruit and vegetables and a variety of antiques and curios.
Nice place. Lots of vintage stuff. Plenty of fresh veggies. We stop here anytime we are in the area.
What a wonderful place for going back in time. The collection of antiques is fascinating to browse, even if I'm only there to pick up farm-fresh produce or healthy snack bars or homemade lip balms. The staff has a genuine love of serving/helping people, and I always leave with a smile on my face and a bounce in my step, knowing that I am supporting a local farm and good people!
My favorite place in this area. Their fruits are just too much. Gotta ask about their plumquats, cherries, and apple cider press days. And I prefer beef.. so.. jus sayin.
Wonderful produce, very friendly employees, very clean & great presentation of products. Love the fact that it's local.
Wonderful one of a kind place to drop by and pick up fresh produce and browse unique antiques!
Great seasonal produce and an awesome source for vintage kitchenware.
