We’ve gotten beef from several sources over the years but FHCM is by far the best. Processing, packaging, customer service, and overall taste are exceptional.
Excellent service and quality. Our buyers tell us that our beef is the best tasting and most tender they have ever had. We used other butchers in the past and can honestly say so much of that depends on how it is cut. Flint Hills takes their time and produces beautiful quality in everything from filet mignon to the ground beef. They are responsive and flexible. We drive our cattle from the KC area to Onaga because they are the best!!
These guys are absolutely great to deal with. The packaging is phenomenal, and when you have a concern/suggestion they actually listen! The owners of Flint Hills Custom Meat are not the same guys that were running Onaga Meat Processing and have really done a great job improving on the existing facility. I highly recommend these guys for your beef processing.
I had 1/2 of a beef from John Fairbanks processed there 3 weeks ago. I have nothing but praise on how well they cut up the beef. The shrink wrap is great a touch. I'll be back. These young men do a excellent job.
The worst experience ever! They got our cut order wrong, supposedly ground up the brisket, and gave me roast which I didn't want so he traded me for some hamburger he had and it was spoiled or definitely old! Don't waste your time and money!
We buy beef from a local KS ranch, it’s processed here. Packaging, quality, consistency, and overall experience has been excellent!
