This place is such a Lakewood gem - homegrown, healthy, sustainable food right in our own backyard. The Fleischer Family and their team are amazing and really, really passionate about what they do. Highly recommend their Saturday farm stand (get there early for the eggs!) and their farm classes are also really cool. 10/10!
Love this farm stand. I tried a few farmers markets out but found them all too crowded etc. The vibe at Fleischer is so relaxed. The vegetables are great, both quality and variety. I'm so glad this is in the neighborhood!
Every year I take veterans to visit farms across Colorado through VeteranstoFarmers.org. For the 3rd year in a row, Paul Fleischer invited VTF out to his family farm in the city of Littleton. Yes, in the city!! Urban farming is a sustainable option to local food security not to mention a wonderful addition to any neighborhood, Fleischer Family Farm is evidence of that! Thanks so much to Paul for his valuable time and If you are near Littleton, you have to check this farm out!
Such a nice looking farm. They even let me look around on a day they weren’t open to the public. The best customer service 💗 …
Such a gem in the middle of a suburban neighborhood. It's a little pricey but that's expected for farm fresh food. Eggs run out fast - usually within the first 10 minutes of opening. I really love this place and the vibe. The Venezuelans that sell arepas are awesome. Thanks for serving the community!
I took a canning and food preservation class here that was very informative with hands on learning and recipes to take home. I am so excited to try my new skills and to visit their farmers market on one of the days they’re open.
This is an amazing urban farm in the heart of Lakewood. During the summer months, they run the best farm/produce stand I have ever experienced. It’s worth coming by for just the produce stand! The produce is MUCH better than anything at Whole Foods, Soopers, or Sprouts. They also offer classes in urban farming, canning, and other urban agriculture subjects. The owner does personal consultations at your house if you need some help with your backyard farm. Or if you’re a total novice, like myself, Fleischer Farms will walk you through every step of planting the produce and/or flower garden.
Good food good people. During the warm months they have a farm stand on Saturdays where they stock tons of fresh produce, most of which is grown right there! They also have a CSA which gives weekly shares of their goods. The Fleischer family is super friendly and welcoming. Their goal is to engage the community in support of good fresh food. Feel free to bring your young kids to the farm to say hello to their chickens or show them how food grows. If getting dirty is more your style, they also have some community days for pitching in around the farm. I can't recommend this place enough.
Waaaaaay better than most farmers markets. Produce harvested on site, products made from their bees, and some goods from local small artisans. They even have a chef that lives on site and recently started selling fresh hummus, if you get there early enough to snag some before it sells out!
This awesome little organic farm is a Hidden Gem in the city! The family that runs it is amazing, the produce is fantastic, they usually have lovely little bouquets of flowers as well and if you want eggs get there early, they sell quick!
