Five Rivers Cattle Feeding- Gilcrest Feedlot

Very large open space to maneuver a 57 foot trailer around. Very clean Feedlot. Easy in and out. Easy access to scale. The reason I gave it a 4 is you are completely on your own to remove the cattle from your trailer. They will NOT help you, if you was to be trampled or attacked by the cattle they will just stand there at watch. I understand that they have there rules about not getting into your trailer but reallly they could help from the outside of the trailer at least.

We got there to unload, and no one was there. All these places want it on thier time only. We are also on a time crunch. Very little consideration. But one of the nicest feed lots from the outside.

They feed cattle and do a great job. The team in place keeps it looking good and the shop keeps all the equipment going.

Got here to unload DDG got told they don't want to unload us at 5 because we were supposed to be here at 430 (we never said that) told that we can't even park the truck here and have to park in the grass across the way but they will unload cattle at 2 am but for us scale won't open till 6 am even thought we got here with plenty of sun light and don't need a babysitter to unload

It was a good place to deliver to. Arrived, no one in line for the scale or unloading chute.

Smells like money 😜 …
