Such an absolutely lovely place to stop for lunch. The food was delicious, too! We met Matt briefly and he was super friendly + hospitable, he had a very good dog too. :)

My buddy was at a construction site yesterday in a neighboring town having a rough day. I hopped on google looking to suggest a place for him to grab dinner that wouldn’t further disappoint his day. Randomly stumbled upon Farmer’s Matt and sent him over with no precursor that this was an actual farm selling fresh local ingredients with an attached restaurant. He left after his brisket burger with a new attitude - excited, satisfied and happy to have experienced this true farm to table experience. The power of locally farmed high-quality fresh ingredients! If you're looking for a place to get locally sourced meat, poultry, and pantry products or just a delicious lunch with a scenic drive & view in Central Mass, Farmer Matt has you covered. Each time we stop by we grab 2 bags of beef jerky (because we know one bag won't last the ride home). Bacon, Canadian bacon, bagels, eggs, butter, etc., your breakfast sandwiches will be epic after a trip to Farmer Matt's. Farm-fresh steak? Chef's kiss! Added bonus: finding locally sourced and delicious cream soda and birch beer, being helped by wonderful staff (Gina!), getting to meet & greet with Farmer Matt and giving puppy pets to Rolly the farm dog!

We have now visited a couple of times & I had previously left a review on here that seemingly disappeared, but oh well. Stopped in recently & was disappointed to find out they no longer have hot food ready to order, such as burgers like they did before. Though it was explained to me upon asking that they had less help so that was the reason for the change which is understandable. However they did still have plenty of options for take home items. Some were frozen, others were refrigerated, but we were impressed by the selection. Large variety of soup, meat, etc...with it coming into comfort food season, we're definitely looking forward to trying the pot pies (turkey & chicken were available) or the Shepherd's Pie. We did take home chicken empanadas & although they were decent, they honestly did not taste authentic as far as how empanadas usually taste. There was no zesty or spicy flavors whatsoever, it tasted more like a pot pie inside of the pastry shell, which I'm not saying is a bad thing because it did certainly taste good, just not like any empanadas I had ever had before. I felt they were missing something, though I would be interested in giving the beef ones a try. My fiancé & son agreed on my opinion about the taste. They were like a more Americanized version if that makes sense. They were easy to reheat though, we cooked them in the air fryer per suggestion & they were ready to eat in around 10 mins I believe. I had mine with sour cream which complimented it nicely. We also got a grinder with roast beef & cheese that was good. It came with a mustard & mayo packet which is very convenient for on the go (which we always are!) The chocolate milk we tried was rich, fresh & great. They also had meatballs that looked good as well as pulled pork & plenty more that I can't remember. We did feel the prices were a little high, but you get what you pay for. In this case, it is quality & freshness. Their dog Rolly was around & well mannered /friendly, seemed to enjoy the atmosphere + customers. I noticed a few goodies as well such as cheesecake, though we didn't try anything like that. Seeing as we are local, we are planning to return soon & try more of what they have to offer. The woman who assisted us which I believe may have been Farmer Matt's wife was both pleasant & helpful. I like that she didn't pressure us into buying anything & gave us time to look around. She readily answered all of our questions & also told us that we could order in advance online at their website in the future to have our order ready for pick up if we'd like. Definitely recommend if you are looking for local fresh food! Parking is easy. There are plenty of signs near Farmer Matt's for those who may not be familiar with the area/location. *Just wanted to add that the food available here is all homemade. We were told that they make large batches of things such as the soups/stews, then it is kept cold in the refrigerator before eventually freezing, but again all homemade here! Plus it's nice you have the choice of buying food cold or frozen if it's something you're not planning to eat immediately, so convenient for planning ahead!*

Awesome local meat farm and so much more. I bought their corned beef for St Patrick's Day and it was absolutely delicious. The brine had the perfect blend of seasonings. I shop here regularly and I'm never disappointed. The staff are incredibly friendly, including Rolly, the dog who always greets me!

If you want a fresh, great tasting burger. You need to stop in. Until the end of July I was told their beef steaks are 15% off while supplies last. So, we stopped in for the 2nd time today. My wife and I both had the single cheese burger with pepper jack. They are just so good. We bought 2 Alarm chili to go, some cookies which were great. It was rainy today, they do have plenty of outdoor seating under a good day. I recommended maybe a gazebos or something that fits the farm like a post n beam setup, just to be able and sit snd eat outside. The building is rather new, freezers are new and state of the art. I had a moment to speak with Matt, they have an awesome thing going. I’m happy to support local businesses, and the food will NOT disappoint. Our next order will be for some meat from this farm especially with the promo until the end of July. Like they say, no farms, no food. Take care and support you local farms, you’ll be glad you did. We have been going to Farmer Matt’s since they opened for the best burgers and hot dogs around. Last year we had them cater our Thanksgiving meal and we were repeat customers this year. The food is amazing top notch quality. It’s all freshly prepared in house. We will continue to be loyal customers and you should definitely check them out. You won’t be disappointed.

Delicious, healthy, farm to table food. Such friendly people. A hidden gem. Live bands, local beers and ciders, all on a picturesque New England farm. Eat in or take packaged & frozen food to go. Everything is fresh and not expensive. I already can’t wait to return! Farmer Matt and his crew do it right! Go here.

amazing service every time, food is great locals favorite. I love the outdoor seats. it's a must go if you are in the area. talk about a great family own business with good consistency when it comes to great food and service reasonable price. Farmer Matt's is a great place to get farm fresh meat. The quality of their meat is fantastic. They also offer precooked meals and have a restaurant for home cooked meals. The customer service is great and I highly recommend them for your fresh meat and meals.

Great food always generous portions, friendly people and dogs. Orders always ready. Beautiful countryside setting. Great selection of meats and frozen foods. Duke gives an A+ to the new dehydrated beef liver Pet Treats!

Surprising place. Full deli menu and fresh beef. Paid a dollar per pound less for the grass fed ground round as opposed to other farmer markets I frequent.

Matt and Brandi are the most incredible people. Their farm is beautiful and comfortable for the whole family to relax and enjoy a beautiful New England afternoon. The food was delicious, and I'll definitely be back as soon as possible.

This place is the best! We buy meats here to grill and never had burgers and steaks that tasted SO good!! Plus Farmer Matt and the whole farm is really really friendly and fun to visit! My kids (and dogs) love it! We need more local businesses like this! 10 stars !!!!
