Fairmont Farm & Market

We love Fairmont Farms meat! Having such good neighbors producing such good food makes us very happy. We get our rib eye steaks almost weekly from them, and when I forget and get supermarket steaks, we can all taste the difference. We've also enjoyed their strip steaks and ground beef, and occasionally lamb and pork. Ordering online and popping by the farm to pick them up could not be easier. Highly recommended!

Being close neighbors, we've enjoyed Fairmont's meats for years. We had a delicious pot roast of their boneless chuck for our New Year's dinner (2024!) just a couple of days ago. Their animals are raised humanely and their family-run farm is productive and beautiful. (Have a look at their charming web pages.) They've expanded their market to include local dairy products and a nice array of specialty items like maple syrup and jams produced by neighboring farms. It's a great feeling to know where your food comes from. Their customer service is superb. Very highly recommended.

The ordering easy. The pick up is easier. The employees are amazing and the meat....well....the meat melts in your mouth.

Fairmont Farm & Market is the best. We live out of state, but purchase online every couple of months. The online buying experience is seamless and super convenient. I was excited to hear that Fairmont Farms had opened a retail store. I have driven by the farm for decades, and recently started buying fresh food from them. So far I have tried lamb (delicious!) and beef, and my new favorite is the monthly bag - fixings for 4 meals , with recipes and Cabot ingredients included. Their website is easy to navigate, and the curbside pick-up is safe, convenient, and seamless. If you're lucky you might get a glimpse of a bunch of adorable toddlers inside the door! I'm happy to support this local family farm while enjoying the convenience of the store.

We purchased lamb meat from Fairmont Farms and it was really very good. I love lamb and this lamb compares with some of the best I have eaten. It’s so nice to know that the animal was well tended and what they ate. Local buying of meat is the right thing to do even if it is more expensive than chain grocery stores. We made sausage rolls from the ground lamb and they were to die for! Thanks Fairmont Farm.

The Fairmont Farm guest house is beautiful! Impeccably decorated, spacious, fully outfitted with everything you could need, and coupled with gorgeous views and plenty of area for good walks. A perfect respite tucked in the Vermont countryside, with the kindest and most responsive hosts to boot. Especially great for groups and families. Highly recommend!

As good as turkey is, you don't have to eat turkey on Thanksgiving. Our household is thankful this year to be able to buy Lamb & Pork locally. I’m off to the farm this week to pick up some sweet sausage, pork chops and bacon so I can be certain to have the best during this stressful time! Don’t wait, shop now!

Fantastic local meat products! They have a very convenient order, pay and pickup system. I love that you order and pay online, then simply pick up your meat, packaged and ready-to-go. We try to purchase local meat whenever possible, and Fairmount meat is delectable and convenient. A wonderful resource in Central Vermont!
