Got a haircut next door and needed some cash to pull out to pay. Barber shop did not accept cards. They told me I could get cash there. Lady was nice enough to helpe out. Therefore, she gets 5 stars. Places nowadays blow you off. Can't help you. Rude. So on and so on. Small fee and she ATM'd for me. Thank you very much ma'am. I am more than happy to recommend your store to everyone that needs some quick essentials. 🙏👏👏👏
If you're going to operate a store that charges by the pound, you should be required to know math. I ordered 10 pounds of carne asada and the bill came to $116.00. I explained to them that if it is $9.99/lb, it should come out to $99.90 They said "tax". I explained it was a tax free purchase and that brought total to around $105.00. I explained that still was not $99.90. The guy says he can take a little bit out but then it wouldn't be 10 pounds. So I guess they are not able to do 10 pound orders. You either have to get more and pay more or you can't get the amount you wanted. Sad because I really loved their carne asada. *UPDATE FOR REPLY* Without divulging my personal information, the method of payment I was using removes the tax. By law, you cannot charge the tax when someone uses that method of payment. I thought you were a butcher shop? Butcher shops have knives. Knives can be used to cut meat to the desired amount. If someone asks for 10 pounds and the weight reads 11 pounds you use a knife and cut off 1 pound. Voila! 10 pounds. Customer gets what they asked for and you make a sale. That didn't happen here. You didn't know how to make it 10 pounds. So I left. Because I wasnt going to pay for more than I asked for and I didnt want less than I asked for. I didnt take the salsa because I didnt make the purchase. I went to Del Sol in Somerton where they have knives and know how to use them.
The meat always taste delicious, I love how they also have unseasoned meat per request. The staff is friendly and helpful, which is a huge plus for our little town.
This place is UNIQUELY DIFFERENT.... The meet is soooh FRESH WITH QUALITY CUTS. The Butcher's were very Knowledgeable and NICE. I didn't realize that they made fresh salsa (mild, medium, hot) Don't forget the FRESH MEXICAN CHEESE ALSO, INSIDE IS A MEXICAN RESTAURANT I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE 👌
Friendly staff and the meat is top notch, will always go back to get Pastor....
I came in with 6 months worth of frozen pasture-raised meat that I wanted cut up. I am old and the meat was almost too heavy for me to carry. When I left it was easy to carry even though I had made a few additional purchases. Was this my imagination? Maybe but I just discovered they only cut up 1/2 of the meat so I had to thaw and cook 3 months worth all at once. They charged me for the cuts. I don't trust them and won't return.
Caesar and Antonio are great, can get all kinds of exquisite meats, including goat meat, lamb and pork belly for my desert kitchen
Followed previous reviews to get dog beef bones. Great service, cut to the size I requested
I bought carne asada to take back to my Beverly Hills mansion and it didn’t taste good. The tortillas I bought were terrible. will not go back. I’ll enjoy LA meats from know on .
This is a little slice of Mexico. Everything comes from there. They have butcher's so you can get meat cut right then and there. They have the best short ribs I've ever had. The folks who work here are always friendly and sunny. I was away from YUMA for 8 years and really missed this place.
