What do you do when it's raining nonstop on Mother's Day? Laura found a window of no rain for 5 hours so we jumped on it and drove to Lizella, Georgia to pick sweet~sweet strawberries. Cute little family farm with homemade strawberry ice cream, billie goats, longhorn steers, farm equipment and porch swings. Just perfect🍓 …
I’ve been going to this farm since I was a kid and to this day is still one of my favorite places to go! The family is really friendly and welcoming. They contribute so much to our community. You can walk around, pet, and feed the goats and other animals. They have some of the best strawberries in our area along with other produce like onions, tomatoes, honey, and squash. They sell ground beef from their own cows, and some of the best strawberry ice cream in our area! So if you’re ever near Lizella, which is apart of Bibb County, stop by Elliott’s Farm! It’s a nice and relaxing environment you and your family will enjoy!
We love Elliott Farms. We come here every year for the strawberries. It's family owned, and they are all very kind and show true southern hospitality. The farm is very kid friendly. The prices are very fair and the strawberries are so good. All of the animals are very friendly, and we were able to pet all of them. The strawberry ice creme is SO GOOD!!!!!!! The best ice creme I've ever had! It's a great place to spend the day with the family with a Pic nic. They have areas to sit, swing, eat, and there is handi cap parking and a large parking lot. Thank you Eliiot Farms for always being awesome year after year
Visiting the strawberry patch was a sensory delight, with rows of vibrant green plants promising a fruity adventure. The sweet aroma of ripe strawberries filled the air, enticing me and my daughter to pluck the juiciest ones. Each bite was a burst of flavor, confirming the patch's reputation for top-quality produce. Friendly staff and informative signs added to the educational and enjoyable experience, making it a memorable outing for all ages. My daughter and I, left the patch with a container full of delicious strawberries and a newfound appreciation for the art of fruit cultivation.
The best everything was wonderful we loved the animals also and you must try the strawberry ice cream made with the fresh strawberries 🍓 it was a fun day …
Some of the best strawberry ice cream you’ll find anywhere. It’s soft serve—like just about everywhere these days—but still top-notch. The fresh berries in early May were excellent, too. Service was a bit slow, though not the staff’s fault. The hold-up was customers ahead of us taking their sweet time explaining their culinary plans for every single vegetable to the poor young lady at the register.
A hidden jewel in the southwest part of Bibb County. The best array of livestock in this area apart from the Georgia National Fair. They also have u-pick strawberries in the spring time.
Good strawberries, really nice people. $3.50/lb if you pick, $4.50/lb if they pick for you. Onions are 3/$1 (small) and 2/$1 (large). They got busy quick and good parking was very limited.
Spent the morning with the grandkids here and had great time! Very rustic and homey. Enjoyed tons of fresh strawberries and shared a cup of ice cream on the porch swings. I liked that you can take your time and enjoy the farm too.
First week of strawberries 🍓🍓!!! Lots of people today and still plenty of berries to pick. Had a lovely time wandering around the animals 🐴🐰🫏🐇🐐. Had some ice cream! …
