Great place to spend 30 or 45 minutes in the gorgeous mountains of Ellijay! We enjoyed browsing the mushrooms on the farm! They have a very nice gift shop and plenty of fun statues for cool pics. We are drinking the mushroom coffee as I write this and it is quite tasty! Would be great if they would serve coffee there, so you can relax and enjoy the views!
What a wonderful small farm. The self guide tour was nice and very interesting to see the grow houses. The grounds are lovely and the Shop is very well stocked with great gift ideas for the holiday.
Absolutely magical. I loved getting to see where and how the mushies are grown. The gift shop was amazing, as well. All around, a wholesome experience and somewhere that I’ll be back to! I can’t wait to make something fun with my blue oyster mushrooms. A true gem in the north Georgia mountains and honestly my dream career. Let me know if you ever need volunteers or summer help from a teacher who is mushroom obsessed.
This place was so cool! I don’t really know where to start. It’s awesome that they let you tour the facility. My family is incredibly interested in mushrooms so this was amazing. They have an awesome store. We bought some shiitake mushrooms and Lions mane mushrooms and I cooked them last night for dinner and served them with salmon! Deeeeeelish! We bought some really cool quirky items from the young lady working, her name was Emma and she was pleasant and patient and super helpful And seemingly quite knowledgeable! The recipe I used to make the mushrooms was perfect , if you’re interested in the recipe, find me on Facebook Kelly Loya or insta @territoryboss and send me a dM!
Very cool ag tourism spot down an amazingly beautiful country road outside Ellijay. The location is amazing. From the time you enter the quaint store/entry which has all kinds of mushroom related items from mushroom shaped glass vases to hand picked fresh yellow oyster mushrooms grown on site, you will be amazed at the entire facility. As you walk across the wooden bridge over the bubbling creek and out to the mushroom houses, you take in just how much the owners love what they do. In the houses you see how each species of mushroom is grown. My only complaint is that I wish there was more information both on what species of mushroom you are looking at and info in each one. It seems like there could be a lot more knowledge instilled into the self guided tour for those of us fungi fancyists(I think that’s a thing?). Anyway, you will enjoy your visit and also enjoy the fresh fungi you can buy in the store on your way out!
It's a neat little store, and there's a self-guided mushroom tour in the back. I wish there had been more mushrooms grown during our visit. Regardless, it's still worth checking out if you're in the area.
This is such a neat gem! Great for all ages and such a cool thing to see and do. Store is awesome and the self guided tour is educational.

What an unique experience! My wife and I love finding these places in North Georgia. Always a new discovery.
If you love mushrooms you have to stop in this store to buy the best mushrooms you’ll ever have. They had three different types, so I bought some of all three and a few others things. The clerk was so friendly and helpful answering questions.

This place is SO RAD! By far one of the coolest and unique destinations right near Blue Ridge and just outside of Ellijay. Unique mushroom themed souvenirs, delicious home grown mushrooms for sale and an epic property that you can explore. Oh and beautiful u- cut flowers! Definitely add it to your list when you come to north Georgia

I wanted to like this place more as I was really looking forward to visiting. Perhaps we caught it on a bad day (Saturday afternoon, July 5), but other than the gift shop with the unwelcoming cashier, there wasn't much to see or do. There …
