Great meat market! All of your Mexican meat market needs is here… well mostly. A wide variety, decent prices, candy and sweet bread ( not as much selection ), but enough for your sweet tooth. The chicken on the grill which is only available on Saturday and Sundays is AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! If you do try the chicken, must order with cashier. Whenever in Salem this will be my go to place, definitely recommend!

Someone is using my account to charge at this store and they will not help me and are unable to give me a phone number to get this resolved I find this despicable

My favorite place for fresh meat for any occasion. Carne asada, posole , tamales, nopales, pan dulce, great bakery. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Parking here is interesting. Friendly staff. If you want to order the pollo asado order it through the cashier.

Not a huge selection of items, butchered meat was meh, the restaurant section food can't even pass as mid, bread selection could use more options. Checked it out after recommendations but hard pass. The location is easy to find and plenty of parking.

my family always comes here for the meat and the workers used to be very friendly and happy but lately they have been all very serious and rude. I went in yesterday and waited in line to get meat and the one guy working over the counter ignored us and kept helping the people behind us I waited with my daughter and hoped he would acknowledge us but nope he kept attending to the other people coming in after us. we waited about 10min until one of the other guy workers that was cutting up meat saw we had been waiting and came to us and helped us out. he was a gentleman not like the other one completely ignoring us Not cool :( We miss the happy friendly workers.

Came here to pick a big order of ribs. For the restaurant I work for and from my experience working with customers over the past 9 years let me tell that the cashier needs more trining with customer service. No smile and a very unwelcoming face.(cashier with long white nails)

Its an all in one! You can purchase prepared food, which is AMAZING GOOD! They have a wide variety of different meats to choose from. Freshly made tortillas. Fresh produce & packaged goods. I've been purchasing pollo asados for many year- they are the best in town!

Stopped in here for the first time on a recommend. Glad I stopped their chicken outside is awesome. I didn't realize at the time they got home made tortillas to so next time I go that's what I'm getting ! I will be going back

As far as selection and quality of meats/produce 5 stars, as far as customer service not so much. Several of the employees were pretty rude letting other customers go first and giving me dirty looks. Even one of the customers pointed it out and told them that was wrong. Just because I'm white doesn't mean I should be treated differently in any aspect.

Great meat market here, and delicious guac. Inexpensive al pastor which is delicious! Home made tortillas as well. This place is often very busy, so try to shoot for the less busy times because the checkout line can take forever!

The taco cart outside is definitely Among the best tacos I've ever had. Tortillas are hand made to perfection. There are two taco stands but The taco stand that I like is only there Friday & Saturday. 5-10pm!

Let me tell you guys that if you really want a good produce and meat selection. Then this is a high top location for that. You can also get a lot of groceries here for cheap and stop by in the spring and summer when they are cooking chicken outside. One of the best chicken recipes you will find on a grill.

Amazing pollo asado on Sundays. Worth driving from Portland to Salem just for the chicken! They're always super nice despite me being a gringo who speaks virtually no Spanish. Great place to stock up on Mexican supplies too.

Me and my Chuukese girlfriend stopped in while out walking the neighborhood in the cool of the Evening, when found El Torito... Great food, Great meat, and Queso... Prices are level and the Tortillas!!! We will be back.. Thank you. Joseph

For this place being a small business.....it draws alot of customers. The best for type of Mexican dishes. If you don't know what meats to buy just tell them what you are making and they will make sure what you need.

Best butcher in Salem, and the fresh tortillas are so good you could eat them by themselves. Fantastic selection and everybody is happy to help you in Español and English too. We shop here a lot.

It a good market. It has many things and the price is better than other places. It doesn't have all latin products, but you can find some of them. If you look for Peruvian products; you won't find anything. They have the harina P.A.N for arepas and good soft cheese.
