We took the opportunity to visit our CSA when they opened up their farm to view the solar eclipse. Johnny and April were so warm and welcoming. The tour and exploration of the fields and greenhouses was fascinating. We all learned so much about the sustainability practices Edible Earth employs. I am so proud to support their farm through membership.

I have been a CSA customer for several years and was disappointed that the CSA I had purchased from the last few years was not doing it this year. I took a chance on Edible Earth Farm this year and would never go back. What I had before was really good, but Edible Earth was GREAT!! The quality, quantity and variety of produce has been more than impressive. But the most impressive thing is the outstanding customer service. I really don't know how they do it, but they are incredibly responsive and eager to resolve any possible issue their customers have. I'm a big fan and can't wait to see what bounty is in every delivery.

The food is excellent quality, the flavors superb, the prices very reasonable. The farm store offers a nice variety of optional extras, including the best meats I've ever tasted, among other things. Their sausage cannot be beat. I'm a huge fan of all of their pork. And their beef. And the mushrooms. I could go on. But this is a farm - and that means that what is available varies with the season. This only makes sense. We look to CSAs to find better produce than we can get at the big chain grocery stores, and the tradeoff is not having a steady supply of all the summer veggies shipped over long distances during the cold months. What we get in exchange is better tasting and healthier food grown locally. April and Johnny know what they're doing. They're personable, they care a great deal about providing quality at a good price, and they're very good at what they do. I cannot recommend them enough.

My family has had CSAs with a variety of different farms in the Pittsburgh area, as well as in other states. Edible Earth Farm is the only CSA that we have returned to after leaving. Our favorite style of CSA was one that allowed us to “shop the stand” at a farmer’s market, allowing us to select items that our family will actually use. We now have a full-choice CSA that allows us to do the same thing, but it’s delivered a short walk from my home. The quality of the produce we received this summer was great. The only time we had a problem with the variety was when I forgot to get online and make our selections early enough. That was my fault, not theirs.

My very first CSA was a birthday present from my sister. She lives in CA, and picked Edible Earth farms. I was overwhelmed with how wonderful this produce was compared to store bought (including organic store bought). Wow - what a difference local organic - the following year, i repurchased the CSA from Edible Earth farms, and once again - I was 110 percent satisfied with the quality and variety of the produce. Last year. I decided to try a different CSA because it was slightly cheaper. What a horrible mistake. I got less quantity, less variety, and it was not as fresh (didn’t last nearly as long). If I’m away, I give my CSA to a friend that lives near me. Even they noticed the difference without me even telling them that I switched. Long story short - I didn’t save any money - I wasted it on the other CSA I recently purchased my CSA this year from Edible Earth Farms. I am so excited to receive my first box I cannot say enough good things about their food, but I would also like to add that the owners are wonderful. No, I’ve never met them, but anytime I have a question - they text right back . 😊❤️EEF

This CSA has been by far the BEST I have experienced. Was with different providers each year for the past theee years, but this one is a keeper. Great produce, awesome people! Thank you Edible Earth Farm for being my CSA!

My son gave high praise for my "green" pasta made with Edible Earth Farms Arugula Pesto! I am looking forward to some fire roasted corn on the cob, as well as some staple root vegetables for my last delivery of the year. You make it easy for me to serve up good, clean meals to my family! I am confident 2021 will be far superior than 2020; and I am looking forward to the next season! Thanks again, Edible Earth Farm!

Fantastic produce, wonderful people. This was our first year doing a csa. Our daughter has been doing them for in multiple states. We have a small choice CSA and the quantity and quality is first rate. Even our daughter is amazed at how much we get. .
