Dutch Hill Preserves is a family-run business located in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, specializing in small-batch jams, jellies, and maple syrup. They focus on providing all-natural products made from locally sourced fruits and vegetables, appealing to customers seeking authentic, homemade flavors. The business also engages in educational activities, such as open houses to showcase their maple syrup production process.
They gave us a tour around the tree farm and were very accommodating with my two children that were a little rambunctious. Got to try some syrup hot off the evaporator and it was delicious! Great maple syrup!
This company put in a bank dispute when a shipment was out for delivery. They knowingly attempted to receive a free item as they were able to track the shipment through UPS and confirmed the ship date via email. The owner stated the item was defective and/or damaged yet it was scheduled to deliver later that day. Terrible business practice. Update: The owner's response is false. Mike confirmed via email to have the item shipped. He received the tracking information on Tuesday, October 15th. Then, on the morning of delivery Mike initiated a bank dispute stating the item received was damaged/defective. However, UPS tracking showed it as out for delivery. We immediately inniated a return to sender on the package so the mention of "refusing delivery" is another false claim. It is clear that they were simply looking for free stuff. Buyer beware.
Amazing experience!!! They gave us a tour that my boy's still talk about. Syrup and maple butter lasted only for a moment in our home. Heading back for a case. This family and their farm is Outstanding!!! Worth a visit, field trip... love, love, love!!! Forever customer's!!!!
Their Open House in March (its FREE) is the best we have ever been to including tours in Vermont. Syrup is available all year long at their sugar house, great people
Place was awesome. I had never seen how maple syrup was made. The owners gave a tour and explained what it takes to make syrup.
Was part of this year's Open House event. The tour was very informative and the maple syrup is AMAZING! Definitely recommend! Support local businesses!
