I've only ordered sandwiches from here, but they are very good, especially for how affordable they are. Unfortunately there's been a couple of times that I've come in to order 4-5 sandwiches for an impromptu work lunch and one of the workers has been outwardly very annoyed despite me not expressing any need for urgency and patiently waiting. Not sure if its better or not if he's been conditioned to act that way because of other customers' bad behavior.
Super high quality proteins, amazing sides, and great customer service. The team there does such a great job at making fantastic recommendations. They have no problem trimming, cutting, etc to meet my cooking/grilling needs.
Great selection of fresh meats chicken and fish. Pre made meals change daily. 5 stars!

Purchased 3 beef skewers and three chicken skewers teriyaki marinated flavor for both a side order of cheesy garlic and smashers and our dinner was phenomenal tonight as good as going out to any steakhouse. I'm sure it had something to do with my expert's son and his grilling skills but the food was delicious. The marinade was awesome and we will definitely back

Am an original customer of Dorfler's since the late 1970s. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Meats and fish are the best of the best and the staff is like family! Catering is wonderful. Dorfler's MEATS all your needs!
Really love coming here to get sandwiches and supporting a local business. However the old lady who makes the sandwiches is always so crabby and makes you feel very unwelcome. Every time I have come she always has the same poor attitude. Showed up today at 9:50 the door was open didn’t realize they didn’t open until 10 all the butchers were friendly and welcomed me in however the old lady behind the deli counter would not stop complaining how “ well I guess we are open!” And looking at her watch. Although it’s been a few year but if you are going to do things like be on chicagos best you might want to realize you are going to generate a following and better treat your customers with respect. It is job security after all. There is plenty of places around the city to eat. May have to rethink this going forward.
