Don's Meats Syracuse

We love Don’s meats. They’re pretty consistent across all their locations and have a pretty good selection, though it could be much better. The quality of what they have to offer versus anywhere else, but maybe Costco is great and we’ll be there even more if the cost of beef didn’t skyrocket after Covid and hefty inflation. They have a friendly staff, always willing to help and always there to answer your questions or at least find the answers to your questions.

When my husband asked if I accidentally bought fillet mignon instead of sirloins, I knew there was no going back to buying meat anywhere else! It was so tender. Plus they are massive sirloins that we can feed our whole family on just one steak. The quality is impressive. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Great sirloin steaks and their house seasoning is quite good. Had to figure some things out as a rookie going in for my first time. Good service and it was delicious!

I have had their meat for years and it never fails to be so good! Don’s meats has such good meats and is the best butcher. Especially great because it’s a family owned shop and is local!!

I have been going here for years. Earlier today I purchase 4 hot dogs (see pictures) and get charged $17.99/lb for Las Vegas steaks (see pictures). I ended up paying $14.75 for 4 hot dogs. Don’t turn your back when they are putting meat on the scale apparently.” Made two “simple phone calls.” Both times kid with the rat tail hair said the scales were not working. Uhmmm, how does the scale print ticket Las Vegas steak? Watch their hands when they weigh your meat.

We love this place! When you know you want to grill but not sure what to grill just pop into Don’s and get inspired! Great selection of meats, spices and sauces. The best thing about them??? They are local! Support local.

The cuts of meat are fantastic. We have loved everything we have purchased here. I highly recommend this place!

They have the best tasting quality meat in the area.

I have been buy meat here for several years love to buy ribeye steaks the last two times I was very disappointed no flavor. I will give them one more try buy the last two time the ribeyes tasted like cheap low quality meat NO flavor.
