I got a pack of small heirloom tomatoes and they taste amazing! all their produce looked so good. I'm only giving 4 stars because I also purchased a tin of olive oil which I realized upon getting home had expired in january, which was 7 months ago...
I feel very lucky to live literally within walking distance of Dog River Farmstand, which carries beautiful produce and pretty much everything that is in season. Also local meats and cheeses, and of course, one very important element of summer: creemees! What more could you want? It's a beautiful place, and a fun trip!
A nice little farm stand with a decent variety of root vegetables (I have only visited during the winter, they probably have other veggies when in season). They sell whole frozen chickens and a bunch of frozen cuts of beef at reasonable prices. You can buy fresh eggs any time and any day, even if the farm stand is closed. A light above the egg chest indicates if eggs are in stock. Cash only. If the owner isn't around you'll need exact change so make sure you've got more than 20s on you.
Love the produce, organic, grown in the farm with local products. Farmer George is great. It’s always so helpful to pull alongside on the way home and grab items in a pinch for dinner. Not to far outside the city limits, literally “up the road”. Swing up, it’s worth it
WOW! One stop shop. More than just fruit and vegetables. Perfect place to stock up. They also sell fresh/frozen whole chicken, ground beef, pizza and coffee!
I have lived here for over 50 years, I only go to dog river or Ellie's, Dog River is by far the best organic farm around,best corn,cucs tomatoes ECT.
Great organic farm along the dog river! Lots of produce and soft serve ice cream. Farmer George is the best, super friendly and knowledgeable!

Awesome farm. Christmas trees are so fresh and reasonably priced. Produce beautiful and flavorful.
Their corn on the cobb is so good this year. May be priced higher than other places but it was well worth it.
your better off just going to a grocery store don’t waste your time going here the produce isn’t fresh
