Dietrich's Meats & Country Store

I drove over an hour to get to Dietrich's to buy some of Ivan Hoyt's amazing artwork. While I was there, I bought some delicious meats. There were many other things I wanted so I will be back. The staff is so friendly too. I'll definitely be back! Cash only, FYI

Fantastic locally owned and operated butcher plus plus plus! Plus, premise-made incredible desserts including pies, dumplings, crisps, etc... Many other locally sourced items, including but not limited to chips, pretzels, ice cream, and so on... The photos give you a small example of the various offerings but play barely scratch the surface. Essentially, it is a micro grocery store with the best-of-the-best from the store itself and from the area. Easy access on and off of I78. The assortment of meats, poultry, deli products, baked goods, and local delicacies are commendable. The liverwurst and smoked bacon are incomparable. This place has so much to offer. You have to visit this place to truly experience how unique it is.

I really like the selection of unique meats. It's cash only which stinks but they do have a ATM in the store. It charges $2 to use it. I would have bought a lot more if they allowed credit cards. I'll definitely go there again. Quail, squab, veal, lamb, goat, tongue, Brain, tail, rabbit, duck. So yummy. Only 4 stars because it's expensive and no credit cards. Still one of my favorite stops when traveling.

This place absolutely has the best meats and cheeses, along with sandwiches, honey, peanut butter, homemade, and so so much more! My favorites are the horseradish cheddar cheese and the chipped beef! I love making creamed chip beef for breakfast, and no other place can compare for this meat! They also have samples out so you may taste before you buy! And very warm and friendly service! Thank you!

I love this place! All kinds of special cuts and delicacies! It’s a must out stop anytime I’m passing through!!

Interesting selection of meats and desserts; We passed on the cleaned brain and (uncleaned? lol) tongue this time but enjoyed some delicious desserts.

Decided to get off at exit 40 off I78 after seeing the sign for Dietrich's. Right off the highway and easy to get to. Great selection of all kinds of meat, bacon, sausage etc. Very interesting selection of country style food products. Prices seemed reasonable. Attentive staff. Wish we had a bigger cooler, we were traveling so wasn't able to stock up as much as I would have liked to.

What a cool store! It was so good we stopped on our way back to get more! The meats were amazing, got a smoked Lebanon bologna, hot meat stick, jalapeño cheddar bologna, smoked Swiss cheese and the cookies were delicious! They will also make you a fresh sandwich, had a smoked bologna and cheese sandwich…soo tasty! Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area 👍🏻👍🏻

We purchased their pickled toung and it was amazing!! Today we cooked one of the frozen ones we had purchased and it delicious as well very reasonable prices.

The best place to get burgers, sausage, hot dogs, any kind of meat. They sell parts of the animal you wouldn't even think would be edible. I can not recommend this place enough. Wegmans, Costco, and Weis don't need your money. But your meat here.

Great selection of smoked & fresh, frozen meats, lots of cheese, tasty pies, jams, jellys,candy, and a dairy case has local milk and yogurt, to name a few items. I bought a chocolate shoofly pie, smoked cheddar cheese and some salami everything was delicious.

I always go out of my way when visiting PA to stop here for our favorites. The liverwurst, beef Jerky, bacon, random pickled veggies, apple crumb pie, ANY smoked meat the list goes on. Once you've experienced it, the bar will be set high and you'll find yourself anticipating the next trip.

My family loves this place. We travel from Alabama to New York every year and this is one of our annual stops. Great smoked meats, country seasonings, unique bottled sodas, old fashioned candy and much more.
