Dickson's Farmstand Meats is a farm stand located in Chelsea Market that specializes in high-quality meats, including chicken, beef, pork, lamb, bacon, and sausage. The business not only sells these products but also offers a dining experience where customers can enjoy various meat dishes on-site. It is known for its excellent service and vibrant atmosphere, making it a popular spot for both shopping and dining.
Located on the lower level of Chelsea Market, this farm stand has some of the best meat in the city — chicken, beef, pork, lamb, bacon, and sausage. The pork cheek bacon is my favorite, and the Cancun sausage is excellent. Everything is so good that I always end up buying more than I planned. Prices are fair, and the quality is top-notch. The staff are incredibly professional and attentive — you rarely see this level of service anymore.
had a great time at one of their events here. was an oktoberfest event. super fun, great meats (as can be expected), great beers available from local craft beer breweries from around the area, and just a great time overall. would definitely recommend this spot to someone who is in nyc or near chelsea market checking it out and looking for something fun with good food. tons of tables to sit at, too.
Dickson's Farmstand was delicious. The steakhouse burger with fries was so simple but the flavors were anything but. The chicken sliders had a little kick to them but tasty as well. The prosciutto charcuterie board was just that. I would have loved to have cheese or maybe even a jam to accompany it. This is a very popular spot for lunch but I didn't have trouble finding seating.
Solid hot dog, a great introduction to someone having their first glizzy. A bit on the pricey side (starting at $7), but I'd eat these over the street carts. Really good roasted chicken!! Also pricey but delicious. Fries looked good but didn't try them.
This is amazingly delicious beef jerky got the variety pack and can’t say enough good things. It’s much thinner beef jerky normally is. The thinness is what adds to it. The beef salami sticks were also legit. Great snack to have around the house.
my boyfriend loves this place! you can buy your meat and also eat it at the same place. sometimes they have special items on the menu depending on what they’ve purchased. we like to come during their happy hour for drinks and food. our favorite item on the menu is definitely the beef tartar.
Went for the Jumbo Hot dog with Texas Chili cheese sauce, raw onions and pickled Jalapeños. Came out disappointed, $24.77 for the dog and some fries (the fries were good). The meat in the dog was great, but it was brought down by the cheap buns they used and the mediocre toppings. Why offer a jumbo hot dog but only have one size of bun it's ridiculous. The Texas chili was okay but kinda sweet, the cheese sauce was watery and the cheap buns they used turned to mush super fast. The jalepeños weren't pickled at all. The cooks were rude, they forgot to put my cheese sauce. They claim they put it under my dog, but I turned my dog and saw no cheese. The cashier was able to help but the cook was pissed and drowned my dog in that watery mess. A good meat dog absolutely ruined by the lousy buns and toppings. Absolutely will not come back
I really love Chelsea Market in New York! I love the concept of having a variety of restaurants and shops all in one place, but without being as overwhelming as a big mall. On my visit, I stopped at Dickson’s Farmstand Meats and ordered the brisket burger. Oh my god — it was so good! I’m a big fan of brisket, and I couldn’t resist trying it. I’m so glad I did because it was an absolute hit. The atmosphere is fun and lively — very busy with lots of people, but still easy to find a table. I can’t wait to go back just to eat that burger again. What a delicious experience!
Amazing hot dog. Very tasty. Bacon might have been some of the best bacon I have eaten in my life
Hotdog was good. Sausage was smoked and placed on a regular bun with relish. Hazy IPA was sweet and delightful.
