Dickson-Murst Farm is a historical farm maintained by The Conservation Foundation, focusing on educational and family-friendly events throughout the spring and summer. The farm offers activities such as petting animals, hayrides, and food stands selling items like burgers and hot dogs. It serves as a community gathering place for families to enjoy various events and learn about farming history.
A cute historical farm that has been preserved amongst the new subdivisions that continue to engulf it. Host free family friendly events on selected dates throughout the spring and summer. Great place for younger kids. Farm animals to pet, antique tractors to sit on, free hay rides and things for the little ones. Small food stand to buy a burger or hot dog. Old barn to wander through and antique farm tools. Farming demonstrations with antique equipment. Occasionally hosts bluegrass bands. We've been bringing the kids here every summer for years. Always free and volunteer run, so just a fun low key old timey way to spend an afternoon with the family.
Family farm event was so much fun! Kids loved the rain barrel train ride and the face painting. Chain saw carvings were cool and they had fun putting the corn cobs in the corn sheller.
Such a great place for the family. Must stop by during farm days. So many activities and a great time
