Diamond P GrassRoots Bison raises bison using sustainable, grass-fed methods without antibiotics or hormones. They prioritize quality assurance, humanely raising animals in natural environments. Bulk purchasing options provide cost savings, and all cuts are vacuum-sealed for freshness lasting up to a year.
The ranch offers four share sizes: Eighth (35-40 lbs), Quarter (75-80 lbs), Half (155-160 lbs), and Whole (320-325 lbs). Each share includes premium cuts like ribeye, NY strip, sirloin steak, and stew meat. Ground bison is available, and deposits are required for all shares, with final payments due before fulfillment.
Join Baby Bison Days in June for wagon rides, ranch tours, and feeding experiences. Reservations open May 1st for public events. Private group wagon rides are available for families, church groups, or events. The ranch store sells bison meat, merchandise, and souvenirs during visits.
Reserve shares online or by phone with an initial deposit (non-refundable). Final payments are due before shipment or pickup in early January. Free ground shipping is available for most U.S. orders. Shares are delivered dry-aged and frozen, or customers can pick up directly from the ranch in McCammon, Idaho.

This AMAZING family owned and operated business offers a multitude of ways to experience the Bison. They run an airbnb, a harvest host for RVs, a Bison meat market, and a wagon ride through the Bison in the field. The owners are amazingly knowledgeable about the history of Bison, and shared a wealth of information over the 2 hour experience. During the wagon ride we were given the opportunity to feed and interact with the Bison from the wagon. Absolutely AMAZING experience and wonderful people who own and operate this place!
Excellent place. We stayed as part of the harvest host program. The tour of the bison was very educational and extra entertaining with the baby bison. We picked up some bison meat as well and everything has been fantastic.
Penny at Diamond P GrassRoots Bison is a charming and knowledgeable guide, and a great tractor driver! She is as patient and caring with small children and visitors as she is with her bison, and our experience at the ranch was educational and reassuring that these magnificent animals will be preserved for future generations. I highly recommend this tour. Also, bison burgers are delicious!
We took a tour of the Diamond P Grassroots Bison and we had such a great time. Jenny makes you feel right at home. The tour was fun and we gained so much knowledge about Bison. They are beautiful animals and the farm is very interesting. Can’t say enough about this awesome place!
Jenny shared a lots of knowledge and stories about bisons. Feeding bisons was an incredible experience. We met some good friends during stays. Highly recommend the bison ride.

It was a lot of fun. Got to feed the bison's right from your hand. The owners were very acknowledgable about there herd.
We had a lovely time visiting with Jenny who gave us all kinds of information about the care and feeding of bison. This was particularly interesting to us as we are cattle ranchers. We were fascinated by the differences…and there are many. We took the wagon ride out to feed treats to the bison and we purchased a lot of bison meat. We are excited to try it soon! We stayed in the Airbnb, and had a great time! Comfortable and roomy for 10 of us to stay. We also did the wagon ride and fed the bison, which was so unique and fun! We had bought some ground bison meat ahead of time from Jenny, and she put it in the fridge for us to thaw so we could make bison burgers for dinner when we got there! Jenny was so hospitable and took great care of us. Close to Lava Hot Springs and Soda Springs, definitely recommend.
My girlfriend called this morning to ask if they were open: she ended up chatting with Jenny who became the most amazing host by taking us out with her to check on some of the animals giving us both a once in a lifetime up close experience with her animals! You could not ask for a friendlier more generous guide into the life of a buffalo rancher and one of the sweetest human beings ever; thanks to jenny so much it was one of her best and most memorable days ever and can't wait to see her and the absolutely breathtaking landscape she calls home again!
