Excellent high quality meat and dairy products! I wont shop anywhere else for chicken, steak, milk, eggs, bread etc. Its great to support local farmers, especially when they are good people!
Destiny is the cutest farm store and the best place to buy meat. I buy all of my beef, pork, and chicken there. They also have fresh dairy products, Milk, Cream, cheeses and eggs to name a few. If you need a quick present, they also carry some small gifts and jams. The owners they are so nice and helpful. If you want the best quality meats and dairy, I highly recommend Destiny Farm. I often take their bacon, short ribs, oxtails, jams, chicken and beef to my mom and son and daughter in law and they rave about it. Once you shop at Destiny, You will not go back to store bought ever again.
The staff is always so friendly and helpful. If I’m not sure what a specific cut of meat is used for, they will offer advice on ways to cook it. Sometimes it’s a race to get to the beef suet or eggs, but I don’t mind popping in a few times each week. And they are always happy to save some for me if I remember to ask, since I’m a frequent customer! Their meat is always great quality, and we also love that they sell heavy cream in a half gallon now!
I've been buying beef from Destiny farms for years. Always good quality beef raised in a pasture (grass fed) with good spring water. I like that they freeze the beef and vacuum package locally right away. The beef doesn't sit on a shelf and stays fresh frozen until I cook it. Clean beef!
The owner is awesome! He can tell you everything you want to know about his beef..grass fed and finished. The animals drink spring water! Holy Cow🐂🐃🐄 The owner co-ops with a few people in the area, but they don't certify organic or natural. I did purchase some eggs and was a bit disappointed to see the color of the yolk wasn't a deep yellow-orange which I'm use to. I did however prepare an oxtail and the packaging was superior! The oxtail was excellent with very little fat and it is delicious! This isn't a very big place, but he doesn't keep a whole lot of excess meat. He sends out one animal per week and has it processed and aged. Mine was dated 5/14/24. I would recommend you pay Hendrick and his wife a visit here.
A great place for horse riding lessons. There are wonderful instructors here who truly care about the horses and the rider. Also very knowledgeable. There is also a store that sells all kinds of meat, produce and dairy products along with some baked goods.
We purchased our prime rib and pork loin for Christmas and New Years dinners from Destiny Farm. Both cuts of meat were the best we have ever tasted. The communication was first rate so that we got exactly what we wanted when we wanted it. We highly recommend Destiny Farm.
Took a trip down memory lane today and stopped in to see the store! I used to take riding lessons here almost 20 years ago and was ecstatic that Destiny Farm was still there and owned by the same amazing people! Picked up a steak, a PINT of elderberry jelly, and whipped tallow balm. Where do I start?! The steak? EXCELLENT. The taste difference is insane, and it left me feeling light and airy after eating..not overstuffed and couch-locked. The tallow balm? Smells wonderful and is so soft and gentle on skin! The elderberry jelly? Absolutely fantastic. And that’s not mentioning all the other great products! If you have a chance definitely stop by! Everyone is so welcoming and kind, I definitely look forward to coming back (regularly)!
My husband and I love all of their products! The meat is the best we've ever tasted, much better than any steak house downtown like Red or Ruth's. We've had conversations with the owners, and they will answer any and all questions honestly and thoroughly. The prices are very fair as well, pretty much the same prices that you see at the grocery store. We also get the butter, milk, yogurt, bread, and jerky they sell, too. The milk is delicious, and the chocolate milk is dangerous. Any other milk tastes weird now. We rarely ever buy meat from any place else, and we live 30 minutes away. The cows look happy and healthy everytime we drive in. If you're thinking of making a stop in, do!
Hendrick and Mary are fantastic, and their farm store is great. The beef is top tier and priced great. My son also takes horse riding lessons here and has a blast. I highly recommend.
We drive 45 minutes here to get our meats. We've had no complaints. Meat is delicious. Thank you Angel.
Great place to buy naturally raised meats!
What a fantastic local place. If you want to know where your food is coming from and what your ingesting then stop buying the unknown from the grocery store. If you want the best for your family this is the place to go. The meat is so good you can definitely taste the difference. What an adorable store, honey, elderberry syrup, butter, milk, free range eggs and soooooo much more. Mary & Henny have a passion for what they do and it shows! Thank you!!!!
While the meat selection when we were there was a little thin we did find some delicious sweet Italian sausage that we cooked up and we're extremely satisfied with. The owner did tell us that additional product would be in the following week because they were in the middle of aging their beef. That's a fair explanation.
Fresh Frozen Meat ready to take home. Been going to this place to get my beef. Totally different taste from Grocery Store bought. Less greasy and better tasting. Also they sell BACON!!! I changed from store bought bacon to bacon bought from this place. One day I ran out of bacon and had store bought left over and cooked it the kids. Literally tasted the difference and said it was awful. Destiny Farm's had uncured no Nitrate Bacon which is so delicious. The pork chops are huge!! You have to understand about Farm Fresh, grass feed. It maybe a little more in cost. But is much better for your health. Without all the Nitrates and other chemicals and preservatives they put in store brand foods. Also they sell Butter, Milk, Some deserts and have gift baskets and knickknacks and art work. They are also starting to sell some produce. Organic lettuce and carrots. They sell Beef, Pork, Lamb, Chicken(occasionally) and Turkey(when in season during Thanksgiving) It is a small shop. It is a Meat Utopia! Stop in say Hi look around. They are good people and I highley recommended them to everyone looking for a change. If they dont have what you want they may be able to get it. Just ask.
Destiny Farms offers great meat, eggs, cheese, yogurt and the farms prices are reasonable especially compared to other stores. Henne (spelling) is great to work with and always very accommodating and offers a lot of helpful information
Finest beef, pork, and chicken I have purchased here in NE Ohio in the 28 yrs since moving home. We strongly prefer these protiens over what we had been purchasing at Mustard Seed. Prices at D F are far less than what i would justfy spending at M S.
Local farm and meat store featuring locally produced meats & other healthy items. Will accommodate custom cuts upon request. Staffed by owners. Also do tours & riding. Pleasant & helpful. Easy access from Medina or Fairlawn.
Fantastic small business meat shop right in Medina.Great selection of meats ,chicken ,jerky, sausage etc etc .My wife and I love this place which was recommended to us by a friend.Fair prices. If you are buying your meat somewhere else you are making a mistake.
I can't say enough good things about Destiny Farm. The product is the best around and the customer service is even better. If they don't have what you are looking for in stock, just ask; it may be in the back, or you can have it special for you when the next animal is processed.
