Deli & Meat Store of the North

I had ordered the "famous sub" (Italian style) with everything on it. And did they ever deliver. This was so good. Every vegetable they had piled onto homemade rolls. They earned their name of famous. Enioy.

Got the famous sub. Huge! Not a big fan of the bread though. Brought the sandwich down a notch. Friend had a chicken salad wrap, said it was great. Next time I go I am getting a wrap as not a fan of the bread.

Place is a gas station convenient store. Sub is okay but they cut it and put it on syrofoam. Not very presentable. My wife's grilled sandwich was a disaster and they wouldn't refund her money or substitute something else. Wont be back unless we need gas or something not prepared. Have a great winter!

It’s one hell of a store. Huge subs. The guy that I ordered my whole sub from looked at me like I was making a mistake ordering a whole sub. Tall, skinny, black baseball hat. It was for my grown son and his friends. I work a deli just as high volume as this place. It gets out of control. Plus we do quesadillas and all kinds of hot sandwiches. We do the salads , full salad bar, and blah blah blah. I could work circles around this nit wit. The lady that brought the sub out to me was nice. We’ll come again. Next time I’ll put the “ big shot “ right in his place. You make sandwiches all day and wrap up cold cuts and meats. You’re no big deal. Come work with me. You won’t last a week.

Ordered a turkey, roast beef and ham half sub. When we got it home it was only turkey. Now if I had ordered just turkey I would say , what a great sandwich because there was a lot of turkey there! And I understand mistakes will be made sometimes but I sure was looking forward to the three meat combo. I will go back but I'll inspect my sandwich next time.

I have always wanted to come and finally got there today. Top quality meats and spices, cheese and more, worth a stop anytime, but it’s a beautiful ride in the fall. Worth the 40 minute ride, just to get great prices on quality spices and their meat variety family packs, for us. Lot of local specialties. Great service and friendly staff. Warrens burg a nice town to visit for fall happenings. Will make this ride again to fill our freezer up for winter.

This deli has the BEST sandwichs I've ever had. I definitely recommend trying this spot. Even the bread is made fresh everyday. The staff is kind and friendly. Thank you for a wonderful lunch.

This is the place you want to go for ALL your meat. The prices are incredible and you absolutely can't beat the quality. I have never had a bad experience here and everything is always top notch. Way better than that over priced garbage a little further down the road.

I was excited to have one of their subs after stopping to just use their bathroom. I couldn't help it, their subs just looked so good. It wasn't the best though. Surprisingly basic for looking like a good sub. They had a huge stack of a large variety of salads too (like macaroni and potato type salads) They also looked amazing and ended up not being very amazing... The store itself was fairly unique and I believe worth a stop. The customer service behind the sub ordering counter wasn't the best though (Only two people though) because I misread a sign thinking they had something brushetta related, when it was really just suggesting to use one of their breads to make brushetta. One girl just stared at me blankly unsure how to respond, not trying to help me understand or anything, and another woman was very short with me, as if I were crazy. After a while, a different woman came out from the back to help me and she was very kind and understanding, taking the time to explain my mistake. I appreciated that, as I always appreciate actual decent customer service.

Ummm WOW, half a sub is the size of a full sub, and even wider! The bread was perfectly soft, no to mention the price was beyond reasonable. There were many interesting snacks such as different flavored popcorn, freeze dried candy and everything in between. Definitely recommend! (Picture shown is HALF of a half sub)
