What a great place to stop for meat (and some other things). The lady behind the counter couldn't have been nicer! She prepared my hamburger patties and cheese perfectly, and we shared silly stories about camping. The price was great for fresh meat! They don't have their own cows and such but she assured me her supply is local and trusted. I couldn't be more satisfied! 👍

Lots of variety as it relates to meats! Very good quality as well. The price is on the higher end but thats normal when it comes to farm to table meats. However, some of the meats are delivered to them so make sure you ask in advance. Also, they do special orders for specialized cuts of meats and also, they do processing but sometimes there is a wait.

We've been coming here for years. It's a small place set back from the road on Beltsville Drive (right near where it changes from Pohopoco Drive). While all of the staff have been friendly and helpful, Joyce is our favorite! We particularly like: Smoked pork chops (which they will cut to your preferred thickness) Chicken Steaks Apple pork sausage (only available in the fall) Fresh eggs Bacon And all of the different cheese they have available That have plenty of other choices as well (scrapple, ground beef, etc). There is also a small grocery section and a fridge with just a few choice items.

Hands down delicious! We are the type of family that likes to keep our hard earned money in our local economy, so better meat…and from our neighbors? It’s a win-win! Friendly help doesn’t make you feel like you are a pain if you have a lot of questions. We bought two different types of sausage and some beef cubes and woooo hoooo you can taste the difference. Sorry Weis & Shop Rite…but ya, we will be regulars now at the Haydt’s. See you again very soon.

There’s really nothing better than fresh cut meats from a butcher shop. And this place certainly doesn’t disappoint.

Great butcher for deer processing. I won't go anywhere else after finding this place. They are amazing.

By leaving 2 stars, I'm being generous. Fact is, I split an entire Limousin steer with one other person, but we did not receive any tripe, brain, tongue or any other organ or tail. As well, I asked for extra thick steaks (2 inches), but ALL the steaks were only 1 inch thick (or less). Plus, I asked for the fat (so I could give it to a deep processor I know), but did not get any - other than what was grounded into the 80/20 ground beef. It also seems like the total amount we took home was much lighter than it should have been. They seemed like nice enough people, but I feel like they ripped us off.

Been doing business with them for many many years( started with my dad) and continues today the nicest people and the best meats always fresh and very accommodating
