Picked up our turkey with no problems. We always use Pioneer Women brine recipe and as Carolina Pastures advised us, we brined while it thawed in the fridge Monday night-Thursday morning! Came out beautiful, juicy, and we froze quite a bit so I recommend.

Highly recommend! The meat CSA program is so convenient and everything we have received so far has been excellent quality. The home delivery is a huge bonus. I love supporting a small local farm with sustainable and humane practices.

DELICIOUS! Well worth the cost and travel to get this turkey. We got a big one and are making soup, shredded turkey with gravy to go over rice, pot pies, and bone broth with the leftovers. Not one ounce of this bird will go waste so in the end it’s a bargain.

We love our meat CSA. Several times now I’ve cooked for family and friends and they’ve commented on how delicious the meat was. I only season with a little salt so I can’t take much credit. The quality is evident in the flavor. Also, Ben provides excellent customer service which amazes me knowing how busy he is. He is easy to get in touch with and really cares. I've had everything from chickens to a whole pig, it's excellent product and I like keeping my dollars local and improving the environment with regenerative agriculture.
