Creamery Brook Bison is a farm dedicated to raising high-quality bison meat and offering educational tours about bison and agriculture. They sell various meat products, including seasonal meat bundles, directly from their on-farm store in Brooklyn, CT. The farm also provides a family-friendly environment with events and tours for visitors to learn about bison and the farming process.
I joined the Walktober event at Creamery Brook Bison and really enjoyed the mix of nature and history. The guided walk through the fields offered great views of the bison herd, and the staff shared thoughtful details about the farm’s background and how the animals are raised. The pace was relaxed, and the group was small enough to ask questions along the way. The farm store was open afterward with bison meat and local goods. It’s a peaceful, informative outing that fits well into a fall weekend.
Great little day trip. We went to their Farm Day which involved a hayride to go see some of the bison. Very cool to see up close. The little ones are adorable. There's also an area to pet some horses, cows, and pigs. Bison facts! -These tactical assault cows are absolutely massive with some weighing close to 2,000lbs - They can hit speeds of 30mph - They have a six-foot jump from a stand still - Electric fences will only tickle them Downsides: Middle of absolutely nowhere.
Went on the hayride tour of the farm. It's about an hour or so and on the ride back they stop to let everyone pick a pumpkin from their pumpkin patch. It's a great family friendly activity for all ages, we brought our 10 month old son and he had a great time!
Found this farm while exploring on my day off. What a great place find! I haven't eaten buffalo meat in years but this was certainly a great photo opportunity!
Have been coming for years first with my kids now with grandchildren. We love this place. Perfect day trip!

We love going here. We have been on their hayrides multiple times. I feel like I get new tidbits of information and history about the bison every time. They have great events for kids and families. They also sell the meat there and it is great quality! We really enjoyed it.
