Crazy Chic Heritage Farm

I purchased our meat chicks from Crazy Chic Farm this last fall. Abbie is a genuinely sweet and helpful person! I had a great interactions with her, from start to finish. I loved learning the process of raising and harvesting our own meat birds and now my freezer is full of pasture raised organic chicken. Having owned chickens prior, this place has the absolute best chicks I have bought, to date. All were incredibly hardy, healthy, and well tempered(didn't attack chicks a couple weeks younger, I hatched), feathered well enough they opted to sleep on top the heater panel by four weeks old. 100% will get more chicks from this place, owner knows her stuff. P.S. pick up some of the fresh sausage from the freezer while there it's good. Update: Easter egger chick started laying at 5months. I am impressed, normally it been 11-12 months before any chicks started laying anything.

We recently bought chicks and it was an amazing experience. I have also taken two of her chicken keeping classes. Shaun and Abbie are extremely knowledgeable and are a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!!
