Cox Ranch is renowned for producing some of the nation's finest Running Quarter Horses and Black Angus cattle. The natural landscape, with its oaks, cedars, and sprawling fields of coastal Bermuda and Tifton 85, provides an ideal environment for breeding and raising top-quality livestock.

Bobby Cox: A Legacy

Bobby Cox has been instrumental in the horse racing industry. As a member and director of the American and Texas Quarter Horse Associations, his accomplishments are numerous. Named Owner of the Year by the American Quarter Horse Association in 2004, and inducted into both the Texas Horse Racing Hall of Fame and Cowboy Hall of Fame, Cox's legacy is both storied and prestigious.

Achievements

Bobby Cox’s journey began in 1976 with his first race horse, Peter Pistola. Over the years, he bred more than 30 stakes winners, amassing over $9 million in total earnings. His horses have won prestigious races, such as the Ruidoso Futurity and the All American Derby. These accomplishments demonstrate his commitment to excellence and his profound impact on horse breeding.
