Great meat and produce selections! Always fresh and great variety. Customer service is also great! Lou and Donna is the owner and they great you like family! Also their lunch specials are amazing everyday, something different all the time.

A hidden gem for fresh seafood, produce, barbecue, and meats. I wish I had found this place sooner! It is located across the street from the Free Clinic of Meridian. You can order fresh Gulf shrimp and they will steam it for you there. They have an assortment of other seafood available also. They cut roughly a pound of bacon and it looks great! We also got some beautiful ears of bread and butter corn. The service was great, and the butcher was very personable. A nice, Southern gourmet butcher shop. They pride themselves on their steaks! They also have food that is ready to go for lunch or prepared meals that just need to be put in the oven. Great find!

Before soup season kicks off go down to Country Boys and “stock” up (pun intended.) Say hello to Miss Catherine- she will take the best care of you and get you set up to enjoy soups and stews when the weather cools down

Really friendly people,fresh vegetables and meat. From pork,chicken to seafood.very clean store and organized so well easy to find things. They even had local honey my family and I LOVE fresh and local honey! All packages packed well. Price are well set.

Awesome place. Nice folks. Pork rinds, pork cracklins, smoked sausage— such a treat! They have a bit of everything. Go check it out. Bring a cooler, you’ll want some of everything.

Absolutely love this place. The owners as well as workers are always nice. They answer any questions, makes suggestions, and are always helpful. They also cook which is awesome.

Best Smoked Ribs I’ve ever had. I’ve eaten all over the world, Europe, Japan, Israel, and Sri Lanka. Forgot to take a picture it was so good. Someone in the back is blessing these meals made with love. I took one bite, and I was in heaven 100/10. The garlic potatoes also… amazing.

They’re okay for just starting out. The guy on the register next to the meat cutting area needs some training in controlling his facial expressions & condescending attitude. It shouldn’t be that easy to read. Anyway, I was recommended to come to this place and I’m not sure what these other reviews are talking about. They had Oysters for $1.50 per Oyster. The “fresh” shrimp wasn’t impressive. The final cashier (probably owner’s daughter), seemed professional. To be clear, I’m not saying all employees are bad but with so few, just one can ruin the perception of the store. I wish them the best. This is a new business so hopefully they figure it what they’re core values and direction are. I’m a business consultant by profession. I always go into to by client’s businesses incognito and sometimes I look homeless. Full disclosure, I dressed to seem lower income bracket than reality. In my experience, that’s the best way to evaluate a true customer experience. I hope someone on that end reads this, and takes the free of charge constructive criticism. I really would like to see this business thrive despite location choice.

First time coming in today and I must say I really love it fresh food, friendly staff, family filled environment. The food I ordered was most definitely amazing those garlic potatoes, kale salad, and smoked crab salad hits the best part of your taste buds thank you I will be back… this pic from my phone really does it no justice but amazing

Best place to get a steak and other meat in Meridian! If you want something different try the ribeye pork chops!

The workers are always so friendly and helpful. Never a sad face when I go in. And the selection is like nothing in Meridian. Couldn’t ask for more.

Always a great experience... You would never know that they actually have a food menu. Try the fried fish. I am not recommending the potato salad, but the baked beans are OK.

The Korean marinated short ribs were FANTASTIC! Helpful staff, they’ll chat with you through ideas if you need. Cut to order meat and or pre packaged. Will definitely be back
