Circle D Ranch is a family-owned and operated establishment situated in Klondike, Texas, about 60 miles northeast of Dallas. Known for their commitment to high-quality cattle, the ranch places a strong emphasis on providing well-bred, healthy animals that meet the needs of breeders and buyers seeking replacement stock.
The ranch offers an impressive selection of cattle including Angus, Brangus, Braford, Tigerstripe, and Brahman breeds. Each group is carefully maintained to ensure that all cows and heifers are in great condition, with healthy weights averaging over 1,200 pounds. Notably, all cattle are vet-checked for age and pregnancy status and are confirmed to be bred to low birth-weight (LBW) bulls. This attention to breeding ensures a smoother calving process.
Circle D Ranch is dedicated to the health and well-being of their animals. They utilize veterinary palpation and aging techniques to confirm breeding status and age. Ensuring that each heifer is palpated by a veterinarian confirms that they are bred and ready for sale. This practice, paired with vaccination, deworming, and consistent health checks, places animal well-being as a top priority.
For those interested in purchasing, Circle D Ranch offers flexible options. Cattle are available for delivery using the ranch's own trucks. Alternatively, buyers can pick through the herd, with cattle priced to gate cut for this personalized buying experience. A small additional fee allows for selected cattle to be personally curated, providing tailored solutions for every buyer's needs.
In addition to livestock, Circle D Ranch also offers branded merchandise including T-shirts available in Dri-Fit or cotton, and sizes ranging from youth to adult.
