The room we booked was classified as a “Traditional Superior King” but it was extremely cramped & looked NOTHING like pics on website. Bathroom was so small it was claustrophobic! Furniture was old, cheap, stained & wobbly. There was some sort of “substance” on the throw at foot of the bed, which tells me they do not change these between guest stays. Limited outlets in room so charging electronic devices was inconvenient (the built-in outlets on the cheap bedside lamps did not work!). We were on the ground floor of the main building with 2 steps going up into the room. The steps were difficult to navigate because they were poorly designed & built. No change out service provided during our stay, had to request toiletries/fresh towels/trash emptying/etc from the office. Ate two meals in dining room, many items on the dinner menu were unavailable on our first night there. Had to track server down at breakfast for coffee refills. Staff was not friendly or hospitable, everyone seemed anxious & on-edge so we did not bring our complaints to management attention. We also did not like parking ACROSS the street from our room. We made the best of a bad experience but would not recommend staying here.

I chose this location for a girls' trip and stayed in one of the barn suites. There are four suites on the upper level of the barn with the center of the barn being used for events. If you do stay in these suites, please be aware that there is an outside stairwell. it wasn't an issue for us but I imagine that it might be challenging in the winter. We booked our time to be the start of the week to avoid the crowds but please be aware that the restaurant is closed Tue/Wed. My best advice would be to read all communications from the inn. Housekeeping services are not a part of the stay and if you need any supplies, you need to let them know by 2pm. They will also text reminders. They don't have night auditors working but they do have onsite staff in case of emergency. The beds were super comfy. I wish I would have paid more attention to their schedule as part of the reason that I booked this was the onsite restaurant.

Beautiful views on the mountains, slightly blocked by trees. The rooms are nice but the beds in the carriage house are diabolical. Way too high off the floor and hard to do anything but sleep in. The spa was nice and the lady there was super friendly. The food and drinks on site are expensive and not great. Steak was full of fat and cartilage. The only good alcoholic drink was the cookie one, although it wasn’t strong. The cranberry drink was awful.

The room was adequate but needed a deep cleaning. It had a massive amount of dust behind the floor register in the bathroom & on the metal blinds in the front window. The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure good. It would have been better with a hand-held shower head. I liked the liquid bath gel, shampoo & conditioner.

The staff was pleasant. The location is perfect. However, the rooms are not very secure. You can deadbolt yourself in but the Inn is unlocked and open 24/7 anyone can come in. The stairs to the rooms are steep and narrow making luggage difficult to maneuver. The room was clean and offered comfortable amenities. Our bathroom door would not close. I gave one star for service since there was not breakfast during our stay. If you are going to call yourself a BnB you should have breakfast.

Charming Stay with Room for Improvement We stayed at Christmas Farm Inn and Spa during the Independence Day weekend and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is beautiful and peaceful—perfect for a summer getaway in the White Mountains. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was clean, which we appreciated. However, a few things could use some attention. The air conditioner was quite old and took a long time to cool the room. The in-room coffee maker and electric kettle were not clean, which was disappointing. The jacuzzi tub, while a nice touch, was noisy and caused quite a bit of vibration when in use. We also wished there was a microwave in the room to reheat leftovers. It would’ve made things much more convenient. That said, the inn has a lot of charm, and the surrounding area is great for sightseeing and relaxing. With a few updates and more attention to detail, it could be an exceptional experience.

Cute place! We stayed in the Salt Box and rooms are of course older but clean and good! We had a great jacuzzi tub!. Close to the sites that we wanted to visit! And nice to have a good restaurant right there! Everyone was very friendly and we liked the vibe!

My room in Salt Box was huge with a jacuzzi tub and a private little porch. The place was clean, people so courteous and accommodating. I can't wait to stay again!

I cannot say enough about this place! Stunning views, PERFECT location. People are so kind, friendly and really made us feel very welcome. Our room was spotless , beds were comfortable. The restaurant was DELICIOUS with amazing charm . The pools were refreshing. We will definitely be returning!!

Room, location, pool and restaurant exceeded expectations. The bed was extremely comfortable. The masseuse at the spa was less than favorable, we had requested a deep tissue massage and she refused to deliver even though we had ordered it prior too. The hotel portion of the experience was wonderful. Would not recommend the spa.

First time staying here and we did not regret it! I wish we were able to explore more, but we enjoyed our short stay. The property is very cute, and very well maintained. We loved the hot tub and the community fire pit. We can’t wait to come back!
