Incredible. By appointment and I completely didn’t pay attention to it on the site but it is. Even then, Dr. Jim and his daughter were more than accommodating to our party of 6 showing up. The taste and flavor are matched only in their attitude and demeanor towards their customers and local community. Will definitely come back!
This is the best retail beef I have found! And, luckily, it's very close to my home. The retail shop is only available by appointment. The shop is located about 100 yards behind the home, down a gravel driveway. Cuts are frozen and vacuum sealed. 1/4 and 1/2 are available.
I did the ranch tour with the owner, Jim, and had several interactions with Chad, his back office staff. The farm is impressive, to say the least. I was shown their methods for raising and caring for the cattle, and given a bovine genetics class by Dr. Jim. In the end, I took home several different cuts at about 6 lbs total. The meat is of the utmost quality with a generous amount if inter muscular fat as you'd expect with Wagyu. The operation and the final product is first class.
Wow, this is high quality Wagyu beef direct from the source - you're buying at the ranch/farm! . It cuts out the middle man so you get great value if you're seeking the very best. Be sure to ask Jim for recipes and how to cook the steak because you want to get the best out of it (and not mess it up). Cast iron skillet all the way.

AMAZING meat. The owner walked us through their entire process as one of the few wagyu beef producers in the area. They have taken a dedicated and very in depth approach to the process. No experience like this anywhere else.
