I am very please with our experience at Chicory Hill Farm. Ordering was simple, Farmer Greg and his family are so welcoming and friendly. We bought a variety of chicken, pork, and beef. You can immediately tell the difference from standard store bought meat. It is more dense and flavorful. I'm very glad we decided to order straight from a farm where the animals are treated well and cared for properly. Thanks so much!

We have ordered (and reordered) both pork and chicken from Chicory Hill Farm. The quality is outstanding, you can truly taste a difference. I took a leap and ordered the 10 chicken package. I had never ordered from a farm before and wanted to try this as I feel foods are being altered at grocery store level. I missed the deadline to order but this farmer gave an option to be on a backorder list. To my surprise I was able to get the chicken and during the process Farmer Greg communicated with me letting me know each step as well as gave me a few days to finalize my payment. When I received the chickens I was pleased as they had added 4 big ice packs to each box as well as they were in a foil type bag with foam around them. We cooked 1 whole chicken 2 days after and when I say this meat was so tender that's an under statement. I highly recommend and appreciate this family farm for their hard work and meat we got. Go get you some farm fresh meat, you won't regret that decision.

Excellent meat and service! I was hoping to find a local regenerative farmer that took great pride in their quality of meat and treatment of the animals, and Chicory Hill Farm exceeded my expectations! Farmer Greg was happy to answer all my questions very quickly and in great detail. It was an unexpected joy to be able to meet his family and him with the meat deliveries too (a lost connection to have one family feeding another :). Our family has absolutely tasted the difference in the meat from store bought to farm direct and we will never be going back to high production store bought meat now. Oh and his bacon and sausage is the best we have tasted! Just fatty enough to give fantastic flavor but doesnt leave you feeling greasey and heavy. Top notch service and product! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We purchased our first 1/4 cow package last Fall. Everything we've cooked so far has been delicious. We also received some bacon, and breakfast sausage both of which were outstanding as well! If you're looking to supply your family with truly pasture raised products that are also far better tasting than what you purchase in the grocery store look no further. You'll be glad you did!

We love purchasing our meats at Chicory Hill! Three years ago we saw first hand how feedlot and confined animal feeding operations work and started buying our meats from local farms that humanely raise pastured chicken, pork and grassfed beef. We started purchasing our meat last year from Greg at Chicory Hill after we moved to Goochland county. Everything we have gotten has been high quality and delicious! Our Thanksgiving turkey was one of the best we've ever purchased. We love the convenience of our monthly meat delivery too. Highly recommend!

We have been using their meat subscription for a few months now and we are hooked! Love the quality of the meat, the service and the connection made with the farmer. I am a first time customer of this establishment and I will be a regular customer. I purchased 1/8th of beef, ordered online, any questions or concerns Greg promptly responded. On pickup day (I chose to pickup but they also deliver) he kindly introduced himself, loaded the order in my car. Everything is freezer packed, labeled and have plenty of room in my freezer, but more importantly, the satisfaction of serving my family great tasting, quality beef! I am looking forward to ordering the chicken and pork as well. Lastly, I can honestly say this is a exceptional product that you will not find at the local grocery stores.

Chicory Hill Farm provides the absolute best meat around, we love it! We refer to CHF bacon as “competition bacon” because it can’t be beat! Also, I have a soy allergy and even though soy is in the cattle feed, I can safely enjoy the meat. I feel great and my family loves every meal.
