We've been CSA members now since 2020. We love reliably getting high quality, utterly delicious meat and eggs every month, and knowing that the animals are being well cared for and having good lives. We've been to the farm and very much enjoy being part of it all. Jody and Beth are great people!
We have been members of Cedar Valley Sustainable Farm for about two years and have had a wonderful experience. We tried it to move away from factory farmed meat, which is a huge benefit, but once we tried CVSF meat have never considered leaving due to the product as well. The meat and eggs are delicious - so much better than from any grocery store and each month's share contains a variety of cuts/meats. Beth and Jody are very responsive and flexible if I need to adjust my pick up date. They also host regular educational farm events. And the prices are very fair. I highly recommended CVSF and am very glad we found them!
By far the best meat you can buy anywhere. Eggs are always fresh and bright-yolked. We roast the chickens and make anything we dont eat into the most lovely stock. I agree with the other reviewer: the pork chops are the best I've had. 10/10
Wonderful meat and eggs raised by Cedar Valley Sustainable Farm. We purchase monthly and they have delivery spots in Chicago that we pick up from them. I would highly recommend this farm for your CSA involvement.
Delicious meat and eggs, convenient monthly pickup in Chicago. Every time we cook with this meat, we find ourselves exclaiming about how good it is. Best pork chops I've ever tasted.

Local to Ottawa, super impressive meat quality. Beth was very communicative about pick up! We look forward to supporting the farm, so much better than store bought and reasonable pricing for what you get.
