Cardinal Ranch

Cardinal Ranch is the best farm in Lakeland and my happy place! Love spending time with all the animals. The property is beautifully maintained, full of charm, and run with care and dedication! You won't find a better place for fresh, local eggs, honey, elderberry packets and now sourdough breads!

We had 2 of our grandkids 👧 👦 coming to visit from up north and wanted to give them an experience to remember rather than a fleeting attraction. I searched and came across a few ranches and farms, I clicked on the 1st one and thought meh! 🫤 Then I clicked on Cardinal Ranch and immediately felt a connection. Seeing the photos and reading the reviews I was sold!! 😍 So I called and spoke with Jay, if I wasn’t completely sold before it was a wrap after our conversation. 🤭 So off we went to the ranch, we even invited my co-worker Caroline and WE HAD THE MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! We learned so much about farm life and the stories behind all the animals and the care that goes into every aspect of farm life. I fell immediately in love with Eustis a very heart warming mustang 🐴, Oreo the cow 🐮, Batman the rooster 🐓 , Arnold the pig 🐷, all the different types of birds 🐦 and Party Animal the donkey 🫏 . We were so blessed and grateful for the time Jay spent enlightening us and educating our grandkids! 💜💜💜 It was exactly what I was looking for a family experience not a tourist attraction!! I can’t wait to go back! Thanks Jay and the crew, for an unforgettable experience!!! 🥰

Such a cute ranch! You can tell that all the animals are loved and well taken care of. Great photo op for the littles! Watch out for Taco the turkey though, she will tell you all the latest gossip on the ranch! 😂 …

Hands Down 100% Recommend! Jay takes great care of every animal and makes your visit even more special. You get to take pictures with some of the animals and even able to give them some of their favorite treats! Family Friendly environment!

Randomly decided to visit this farm and we had the best time! Thank you so much Jay for showing us around with so much patience and passion. The animals are so lucky to have you and we can clearly see how loved they are. Really appreciate you giving us a tour even when you were not open for public at the time.

Cardinal Ranch is a truly unique experience for all ages, but especially young ones. Jay and Kim have turned this passion project into a wonderful service for their community. They allow people onto their beautiful property to meet their lovingly cared for animals; cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, donkeys, ducks, geese, and horse. The wonderful thing about it is that you are not just standing behind a fence looking at the animals, but interacting with them; touching them, getting to know them, befriending them. It is a wonderful experience and well worth a visit. We will be regular guests.

We went there with the family last Saturday and I have to say this is really a terrific farm. The owner's name is Jay and he was wonderful, very polite, had a lot of information on animals and just a terrific host. There were so many animals to look at and feed; Pigs, donkeys, a horse, several cows, chickens, ducks, you name it, the place was loaded. We had a great day and I would highly recommend The Cardinal Ranch to anybody who wants to go ahead and interact with a variety of animals on a peaceful, and clean farm, and have a day out with your kids. Very soothing, relaxing and lots of fun.

Great place for family and friends to come experience some farm animals. We have a 2.5 y/o who loved seeing the animals up close and personal. Toby was his personal favorite.
