CABB Farms raises Angus and American Aberdeen cattle using grass-fed and finished methods on their 68-acre Lexington, Ohio farm. All cattle are raised without added growth hormones or steroids. Antibiotics are used only in life-or-death situations or to prevent long-term health issues, with strict record-keeping and a 6-month withdrawal buffer. Sustainable practices include intensive grazing and a precise vaccination plan. While not certified organic, they focus on genetic tracking to produce lean, flavorful beef.

Offerings

The farm sells a wide range of beef products, including steaks, roasts, ground beef, and specialty items like bratwurst and snack sticks. Farm-fresh eggs are also available, with over 830 dozen sold through local markets. Products are hand-butchered in a USDA-inspected facility and available for pre-order with pickup at specified locations.

Visiting & Buying

CABB Farms participates in Central Ohio farmer’s markets year-round, including the Worthington Farmer’s Market (Saturdays 8:00–12:00) and Westerville Farmer’s Market (Saturdays 9:00–12:00). Customers can also pre-order online and pick up at these locations. The farm provides resources explaining grass-fed beef benefits and sustainable farming practices.
