If you are looking for the best quality, local produce, this is the place! I'm always impressed when you can see exactly how your food is grown. They have tried and true farming practices, handed down through generations. The staff at the farm are the best! I had the pleasure of picking my own strawberries this past spring and was happy with the knowledge and conversation. Thank you for a great experience and the best produce NC has to offer.
Best farm stand around! Anything from strawberries, flowers, produce and sweet potatoes. They also have a huge U-pick strawberry patch where you can pick your own berries! And if you can't make it to Cameron, there is a store in Southern Pines across from the Ford dealership that sells everything straight from the farm.
We have bought sweet potatoes from Pilson's farm for many years. Always delicious. Always very courteous. We anxiously await them being ready to buy in the fall.
Wonderful farm!! The best strawberries you will find anywhere!! I heard they are getting ready for lots of home grown produce and some grass fed beef!!
Gap certified. They have the best strawberries and produce around!!
Very unprofessional no close signs no one around no business. Well get mine or anybody else's that I know
Fabulous produce and wonderful people!
Kind of family business you want to support!
We joined CV Pilson's CSA mid-way through the season and have loved being a part of this community! We have been involved with other CSAs over the years in Virginia and NY and this has been the easiest/most flexible one so far! We get a reminder every Sunday night that our CSA box will be delivered to Hugger Mugger (our chosen location in Sanford) on Thursday afternoon. We can opt out of the week's delivery by responding to the text before 9am on Monday. (We only had to do that once when we were out of town.) A couple of days before pickup, we get an email from Cliff Pilson letting us know what items will be in our produce box. This week we have lots of goodies including white sweet potatoes, apples, peppers, celery, sweet corn, and carrots. Yum! Pick up is super easy - just pop in Hugger Mugger between 4-9pm on Thursdays and grab my labeled box from just past the bar. If time allows, I can even grab a beer while I'm there for pick up. We will definitely do this again next year!
