Super friendly and knowledgeable staff ! They have such a huge selection and lots of other stuff like honey and cheese & even duck eggs The store was really clean and well stocked on all kinds of meats
Absolutely WONDERFUL meat, I wouldn't go anywhere else to get my Chuck roasts and Flatiron steaks!
Instead of going out to celebrate our 32nd anniversary we picked up some absolutely delicious filets and grilled them. They are the most tender and flavorful steaks. Better & less expensive than any steak place.
Me and my dog eat their beef raw. Tastes great.
I live in burleson and don't like city traffic so I am willing to travel the twenty five minutes to Grandview to pick up all the grass-fed beef products that I want. The Fort Worth store does have more variety, so on certain occasions, I will travel there to have those options. There is simply no comparison in quality and taste of their grass- beef products compared to the dyed, hormone, steroid & antibiotic-laced beef in grocery stores. A normal serving size of protein per meal is the size of a deck of cards, or about four ounces. One of the rump roasts weighs 2 pounds and 12 oz, so you can do the math. How many portion servings you will get out of just one roast. I usually slow, cook them in my instant pot and literally it falls apart and melts in your mouth. I also feed it to NY senior beagle Because he deserves the best in his old age.
For my husbands birthday dinner we had a few friends over for a nice sit down dinner. I bought the meat from Burgundy and our friends were amazed at the taste, tenderness and quality of the meat. I told them where I bought it from. They now shop there. I have not used the delivery service as I live about 30 minutes away and the drive is a beautiful one through country, horse farms and small towns. My husband and I go there when we want to get a good burger on Saturday or Sunday. You definitely can taste the quality difference between their burgers and any other restaurant that makes burgers. It is a small place with picnic tables inside and out (made by a local Mennonite family), large refrigerator units on two walls that hold beef, pork, chicken and locally made things (eggs, cheese). The staff are nice and helpful. This is not a Central Market, however I like the fact that they do well what they do, offer quality meat.
1) The restaurant: nice, laid back, and hand's down the best burger I've ever had in my life! It is worth the drive. 2) The boucherie: the meat is local and grass-fed. Good selection on their website and the meat is super tasty [duh! because it is actual meat and not a bunch of fillers]. My digestive system loves it. They deliver and since I live in Dallas, this is extremely convenient. I buy almost all my meat from Burgundy, its a regular part of my grocery-shopping approach.
Bought some chicken wings and they were the juiciest, best wings I’ve grilled. Will definitely try the other meats. Customer service was amazing. The price is higher than Chain grocery stores but that’s to be expected and the quality is great. So glad I found this place.
I have been buying meat from burgundy pasture beef for over a year, about once a month. I like that the beef is grass fed, not from a feed lot (much healthier!). They also have free range chicken, pork and lamb available. I have never been disappointed with the quality, and I have tried about everything they have. There is more flavor to grass fed meat, and I like the texture a lot better than regular store bought meat too. The kind of fat in free range meat is healthier (it is leaner though, compared to conventional meat). They deliver to the Fort Worth area every other Saturday, and to the Dallas area the other Saturdays, or you can drive down to Grandview to pick up your meat.
