Buckeye Butcher

Absolutely amazing quality! I picked up both lamb and beef, and they were incredibly fresh and flavorful. The cuts were perfectly trimmed, and you can really tell they take pride in their craft. Tim was very helpful.

I was quite upset with BB as they did not cater the Order for Baby Goat - as they had promised. It was embarrassing for me, I had a few guests at home for dinner, everything was great except Baby Goat I had made up my mind - not to deal with Buckeye Butchers anymore. (I was wondering if any Customer should place an order or not? They messed fore 2 times, and no one even called to say that they will not be able to supply though the Owner himself had confirmed over TEXT after several follow up.) To my surprise a Lady Manager called next morning If I would still like to have the goat meat? Since it was first time someone called from Buckeye Butchers, I explained the situation that I wanted it as of yesterday and they are late on their follow up. I am positive she knew the whole story, though she extended her sincere apology, and just to respect her follow up and call (one thing I agree that the quality of meat product is excellent, and I had driven to the farm personally before). hence even I did not want it , I placed another order, and I can say that the Lady made sure that it is delivered on time, and IT DID. I would suggest to for people like to have good meat product should call the Office, speak to the Office Manager/s and "ENSURE DELIVERY ON TIME" as the Owner - TIM - though he is a great guy (I have met him personally) may not be an excellent Customer Service person.

Giving 3 star coz I drove for one hour to reach to Buckeye Butcher, & met Tim , was impressed as he seemed to be a gentleman . Upon his assurance that he will get the Goat Meat delivered next day, , placed an order, I had to change my travel schedule and waited even the next day - was disappointed that it was NOT DELIVERED despite making several follow up. Well , there could be several reasons , at least Tim could have called back so that my day would not have been lost just waiting. Still - since I personally met Tim, I would give a benefit of doubt and hopefully he would stick to his commitments and will respect & value his customers time

The meat department was awesome. The butcher stopped and helped me with my order. Very nice, man.

Grate service! USDA beef has good marbling!!

Price of meat is great. However, it would benefit people who buy meat in bulk.

I used to trust this place for halal meat, but I'm concerned now after hearing that two Muslim employees, who were responsible for doing the halal slaughtering, have left. This raises questions about whether they are selling non-halal meat.

Not sure If I need to change my opinion , first of all very difficult to place an order , second , one does not get CONFIRMATION if order will be served unless a customer calls at least 10 times , NOT sure if the order will be delivered even getting a text that Order is confirmed

Hand-slaughtered halal meat directly from the source. Tim is a friendly guy and always a pleasure to see!
