We came down for the sunflower soiree, which was fabulous. And now we have returned for pumpkin and puppets, and pick your own pumpkin. We will be back for christmas with the cows. We love it here.
A very fun and lovely farm! I brought my 7 week old and realized it was a bad idea too late. The heat, the excitement, the change in routine had us both crying in 85° weather. Several workers, the owners themselves I believe, helped me gather my things and even held the baby while I prepared to take him home. They were so nice and understanding! The sunflowers and food were awesome but the kindness I received was by far what I will remember of my trip here.
Love this place. They do such a fantastic job with all their events. My first time at the sunflower soiree and I'll be back next year. Great food, awesome vendors, cute animals, music. Truly something for everyone
Place is a beautiful cute farm. Shop is very well done. Very organized, all the food they sale look top grade. I love that they sell the raw organic milk in glass bottles. The signage is also very cool. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants good milk or meats.
Brookford Farm is one of my favorite places on this planet! We buy their delicious fresh eggs, homemade raw kefir and cheese weekly! We also love their fermented food selection and their homemade cheese is incredible. We live a half hour away and it is worth the trip every time we drive there and back. The people are friendly, the food is farm fresh and we even get to play ball with Bella and Rocket, two of the dogs that work at the farm, which always makes my day. I highly recommend Brookford Farm! They have us as customers for life. 💯
The healthiest food money can buy! Great variety of organic meats, chicken and duck eggs, dairy including a large selection of cheeses, fermented veggies, honey, maple syrup, fresh produce including herbs, bread, and grain products. All the critters are out on pasture. Amazing earth friendly farming practices. This farm is THE prototype of how every farm should be managed!
If it's available at a farm they have it here. A great little farmstand that's about to get bigger. Nestled maybe two minutes off of exit 18 in Canterbury between RT 93 and the Merrimack.
Christmas with the Cows was a super cute, awesome experience! Pretty small, but not overcrowded and tons of cows and calves to see! They had a cute little pop-up puppet show, which actually taught us some things we never knew! Awesome vendors, and a great experience!
We went for the Sunflowers, it was an expensive dissapointment. It cost $14 per adult to get in and a long walk to get to the fields with less than expected flower heads.
Great working farm with a corn maze and PYO sunflowers, pumpkins, and organic raspberries as of September! The staff were very friendly and attentive, plus their two herding dogs like making friends. They had covered picnic tables out and a sand pile for kids to play (and a bathroom nearby). They have a farm store as well, though it is quite small with mostly coolers of milk/cheese products and meats. Most of the fresh produce available was outside.
