Benny, the owner, is fantastic, and the entire crew is incredibly friendly and helpful. I find myself shopping there at least 3-4 times a week, and it's always a pleasure. Two words....Prime Rib! Need I say more? Actually, this store has the best Fajitas. I've tried many markets, and none can compare to the excellent marinated beef fajitas at Bob Starks. In and out and friendly service. I live in San Antonio and visit the Valley a couple of times a year and seldom go back home without the awesome fajitas!

Excellent selection of Prime cuts of beef, chicken, pork and wild game. The beef kabobs are my favorites. Best selection of steaks in McAllen.

Bob Stark's is hands-down the best place for boneless ribeyes in the valley. From the moment you walk in, you're treated like family, thanks to Benny’s warm hospitality and attention to detail. The ribeyes are top-quality, tender, and packed with flavor. You can really tell that the team here cares about every part of the experience, making sure each meal is exceptional. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great steaks and a welcoming atmosphere!

Awww man. First time I go to these place to try it out. The minute I walk in I was greeted by Rosie. Then as I was looking at their selection since it was my first time I was asked if I could be helped by the gentleman Gerardo I believe who gave me the meat I wanted. Very clean place and the quality of the meat was excellent much better than other places. Grilled the Chicken and Fajitas and the flavor was outstanding and very tender. Even their sausage they make their was delicious. The Avocado salsa was very good. I highly recommend it and this will be my Meat Market from now on. My guest were super satisfied also.

Bob Starks has been my go to for 20+ years--1st from Mr. Stark then the Rodriguez Family. Their marinated fajitas are the Best & the past few years we've started a new tradition of grilling Bob Starks T-Bones for Christmas. Best Meat, Wonderful Family & Friendliness Staff you'll ever meet❣

Excellent! Highly recommended. Very helpful staff, gorgeous meats, good prices, very clean. I was looking for Hog Jowls to make some Guanciale. They didn't carry them but the manager, a really nice guy, gave me the address of a slaughterhouse up in Edinburg that did. I did get a duck (frozen) and they had some beautiful steaks I'll be going back for.

The marinated fajitas were absolutely on point. However, I don't think this place knows what wagyu actually is. Went in because supposedly they had it, but it looked about the same quality as off the shelf local chain stores. Fajitas, short ribs, etc all day but stay away from the ribeyes.

I went to this place because of the reviews and was amazed!! High quality of near and super clean and neat. Great attention and will never replace this place. I didn't even care or see the prices when I saw how clean cut their meats were. Definitely returning

Picked up some seasoned sirloin fajitas today from Bob Starks Beef Shop and man they were so good!! I didn't have to trim any fat off like i do when i go to the competition. Also the meat market was very clean and the workers were friendly and attentive. This is my new favorite meat market in the RGV.

Huge variety of meat from Iowa. We are so pleased. Wish there was a place like this closer to us. The gentleman was very helpful. He took his time and he was very patient with us. This is the only place we will buy our meat from now on.

I bought fajita meat 3 times from this shop, and I like it a lot, clean, tender and very tasty. I tried also the chicken, it was clean. All my friends like the fajitas and will start buying from the same place

Great place. Great Meat. Great People. Anytime I need meat for a BBQ this is the place I go to. They have the best meat in town. Just the other day I tried their Wagyu Ribete.... OH MAN! DELICIOUS! Thank you Bob Starks for providing the Valley with good quality meat.
