Had a memorable visit to the Black Willow Ranch! It is truly an amazing place! The stunning landscape includes a stream, cliffs, cottonwoods and meadows which seem to be hiding elk, turkey or deer at every corner. Guides, Kyle and Matt are truly top notch! They are stewards of the land who went out of their way to ensure my eight year old son had a pleasant experience… from allowing my son to help bottle feed a two week old calf or taking time impart their vast knowledge of the local ecosystem to my son and I. Thank you Kyle and Matt, we will be back, hopefully next fall for a cow elk hunt

I had the privilege of visiting the black Willow Ranch this summer. Wow! I had a wonderful tour of the property and saw lots of wildlife; elk, turkey, deer, and even bear. The ranch was founded in 1862 and has a wonderful history to be shared. It offers beautiful meadows , rivers and many historical buildings. My experience at Black Willow Ranch was an absolute treat! I can’t wait for my next visit!
