Big Steer Meats is a delicious asset to the East Side! Today we grilled the Al Capone and the Italian Stallion steaks! Best steaks ever! Not only the incredible stuffing but the cuts of steaks were prime, beautifully marbled and perfectly aged and seasoned! Buying the goods was as much fun as grilling! Your questions are welcomed and great choices are everywhere! From prepared dinners of sliced beef or lasagna to the many, many brats and beef sticks, salads, lunch meats, raw meat....there is no shortage of delicious food! We can't wait to go back, it is our new favorite place!

Where do I start? The Dago meat is awesome, I get it by the box. Double smoked Bacon 🤤 i get the entire slab cut 3/8" thick. Even their pizzas are tasty. The Al Capnoe is absolutely mouth watering, their Porketta Pork chops are a Must Eat. Even the Dog bones smell like they're Double smoked... Great friendly "Old School Service". I walk in all Excited & walk out with the feeling of "Can't wait to get home to cook something" if this review app had 10 stars I'd give'em 10 stars. I won't say that I'll be back soon because this is my place to get the Quality that I want at a fare price, so why would I go anywhere else?

Great meat shop. I love the smell. I think the staff at Flicker meats has me conditioned to their customer service etiquette. Their customer service is second to none. However, Big steer staff is friendly and helpful as well.

I bought ribeye for my husband and I and 2 smoked pig ears for my dog. The ribeye were delicious! The veggies in the pic were from another store (I forgot to take a pic of the steak by itself) but the steak grilled very nicely! The marbling was great and it was the perfect size. And my dog loved the pig ear! And it smelled so much better than the ones you buy at other big box stores.

Been going here for decades. Always great ppl., great customer service and great meats ect.

1 star for the Great workers and 1 star for the clean looking place. However that’s where the stars stop because of one MAJOR problem…. Prices. Hy-vee sells same brand pellets 20lbs/$10.99 and are only an extra 5min drive. BSM sells them 40lbs/$30.That’s nearly a third higher for the same product. I can’t justify this price and unfortunately I will not be going there again. I hope this review helps
