Bialas Farms

Bialas Farms is a wonderful source of farm-fresh vegetables in the famous Black Dirt Region of New York. Their produce is always crisp, flavorful, and grown with care in some of the richest soil you can find anywhere. Every visit feels like bringing home a taste of the land itself—fresh, local, and full of goodness. Truly one of the best places to get vegetables straight from the farm! They offer CSA shares and I hear a lot of positive news about that.

Great place, great products and super customer service

We participated in the CSA farmshare this year and we were blown away. First off, the family becomes your family. The Bialas family genuinely cares about you and your wellbeing and there isn't a person who isn't smiling or willing to chat upon every visit. Kasha and Doris and Thomas were all so good to my 2 year old with all visits. Second to feeling like family, the veggies were beyond quality you would get at a store. We ate way more variety, we explored new recipes, we cooked more at home, and we exposed our daughter to more. We were very impressed for the price point. Lastly, the experience each week of getting the email about the weekly share and how to prepare, store, cook, etc. was so exciting and actually taking the drive to the farm for pickup was a fun weekly occurrence for my daughter and I to look forward to. We cant wait for next year! For now we will enjoy the farm stand until the season ends.

I love this place! So many great veggies; standards plus some Asian, like bok choy. Recently, they even had artichokes! There is something nostalgic and primal about a visit to this Black Dirt farm. NYC is a mere fifty miles away, but this historically significant locale seems a million miles away! Visit! Folks are friendly and the prices are great.

Friendly and supportive! Go visit Doris and the crew to get a lesson or two plus some great plants. Besides for being a hoot, she's been working the same land for 50 years and is still raring to go while being happy to help
