Benner's Farm is a family-oriented farm that offers educational programs, workshops, and various farm-related activities, including camps and private events. The farm focuses on engaging the community through hands-on activities and educational opportunities related to agriculture.
Cool farm and an interesting place to stop by when you’re in the area. The shop is nice and the animals are cool. The overall setting is definitely great as well. A fun drive to come to, and a fun drive to leave.
EASTER EVENT - NO PICTURES WITH THE BUNNY. The tickets we paid for were supposed to include photos with the Easter bunny. The bunny was there for the first 15 mins and then left. They did not stay for the whole event and when they were there, we were told to line up for the egg hunt (therefore not lined up to take photos). Never were told they were not staying for the whole event. The main reason we bought tickets was for the bunny photos. DID NOT GET WHAT WE PAID FOR. The egg hunt took 2 mins because you’re only allowed 10 eggs. Half of the prizes were not age appropriate for my young child (such as junky candy that is hard to chew). After that, you get to roam around the farm to see the animals which ended up being the best part…but you do not get photos with the bunny. Overall it was a rip off and disappointment. Don’t sell tickets saying you’ll get photos with the bunny, if they can’t even stick around for the whole event. No one got photos of their kids with the bunny and were pissed off. Won’t be back.
We came here for their Strawberry Festival and it was fun. There were activities and all the animals were out. The strawberry season is only 2-4 weeks so everything was freshly picked and if it was strawberry, it was freshly made (jams, strawberry topping for ice creams). It is great to support a local farm. We had fun and will likely come again when the next crop is ready!
Just came back from the Maple Syruping at Benner's Farm with a girl scout group. Highly recommend the experience. They learned about trees and plants, got to see the syrup process and ate some great pancakes and hot cocoa. Definitely a one of a kind experience to do with your kids. Staff was very sweet and knowledgeable and held the attention of the children.
Beautiful farm for family fun, animal petting, pumpkin picking and the great outdoor experience great for little kids they had live band playing pumpkin painting apple pealing lots of animals
I was going to give this 4 stars but since someone gave 1 star because the person directing cars in the parking lot was rude I feel it's only fair to balance the that ridiculous rating on the entire place based on one person in the parking lot. I was there a week ago on a school trip with my son and everyone had a very good time. All the staff I came in contact with were very nice and good with the children. So why was I planning to give it 4 stars instead of 5, it's not very big and I believe if I wasn't there for the school trip within an hour we'd likely see all there is to see. From first look outside it appears the bathrooms are potta potty style but good news they are not and actually very nice. So if you're in the area or planning a trip to the area it's a nice place to stop and spend a little time. I'd try to see what else is in the area and make a day of it.
We went for a first time visit with a Homeschooling group for an event that taught the kids how to make Maple Syrup. Farm family was wonderful and it was a great learning, fun experience for all! 💙 …
Took my granddaughter today at 1:30(Saturday) to see the animals. Was closed… website says open every Saturday and Sunday. Very disappointing
HOW DARE YOU SELL BABY RABBITS AT FAIRS AND AT YOUR FARM! I was at a fair today where this farm provided their animals and these people need to be shut down. Rabbits are not the kind of pets where you drag them around to different events and exploit them. I have been picking up after people like you and having to save dumped rabbits consistently and this farm is not helping at all. There are countless amounts of bunnies waiting to be adopted from Long Island Rabbit Rescue and All About Rabbit Rescue. These rabbits are already spayed and neutered and are just looking for love. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS FARM AND WHAT THEY’RE DOING!
My husband and I attended a concert this past Saturday afternoon, the first in a series of concerts. It was VERY good, really a quality experience! No wonder people are saying such nice things about this gem of a place. We hope to return to see the farm, as well as to enjoy future concerts!
