Bartl Homestead

Practices

Bartl Homestead relies on vintage traditions to deliver wholesome, quality products. Their farming philosophy includes minimal vaccination practices and sustainable, pesticide-free feeding. Chickens at Bartl Homestead are fed a diet free of corn, soy, and GMOs. They are raised on fresh pasture, never confined, and never treated with antibiotics or hormones. Similarly, their cows graze on pasture and receive a supplemental diet of grain, hay, and silage. The farm proudly offers A2/A2 genetic tested cows, ensuring a nutrient-rich profile for their dairy products.

Offerings

Bartl Homestead provides a diverse array of farm-fresh products. Customers can select from a variety of beef cuts, including Porterhouse and T-bone steaks, alongside beef fat trimmings and beef tallow which can be rendered for cooking. Their chicken is available whole for optimal freshness and versatility in the kitchen. Egg offerings at Bartl Homestead are fresh from the farm and cultivated without the use of antibiotics or cages.

The homestead also caters to raw milk enthusiasts, providing milk in both plastic jugs and glass jars. Unique to their offering is a glass jar return program, encouraging sustainability and community trust through an honor-based payment system.
